  1. Riding more tonight (about 3 hours or so) it doesn't feel flexy at all.
  2. No, especially after we created a 2nd and 3rd prize also. Yes
  3. I agree also, the guy was building on a budget though, we managed to get all that to him for under £1000 despite some of the parts being pretty expensive comparatively (bars, tensioner, headset).
  4. Of course Despite the few issues, which I'm sure can be ironed out, it's been really enjoyable!
  5. That one's off to Swindon - hope your insurance has paid out now James (if you're reading!).
  6. Looks sweet I reckon! Ads
  7. The rules stipulate that the bike was to be built with parts in stock on the day - we had one before xmas but not any more... But yeah, it's a pricey little beast, haha.
  8. Been delivered all the way up to the Isle of Skye so you're unlikely to see it in the flesh, but we reckon it looks pretty sweet! Ads
  9. I'm not sure... but the rear 20" disc hub is 172g and the front is 102g I think old rear disc hub will have been around 200. Hehe, good plan I may do... how much are you offering? New pic cos the orange stickers looked poop:

  11. Usually after work... Blackburn, Warrington, Preston, Morecambe... don't have a set day but you can always give us a call at the shop and we'll let you know if we're riding Adam
  12. We're just up in Bamber Bridge, and theres quite a few riders around Preston, Atherton etc
  13. Just a spot of riding/promo There will also be a street ride, venue TBC. Kip up at mine if you like Joe/Ads Yeah that's right. There are bigger natural venues (Addingham for example) but we thought a reasonably close train station would be important Ads
  14. There's plenty of riding there I reckon, especially down in the woods!
  15. Important information: Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances, the venue and date of this ride has had to be changed - apologies for any inconvenience. The new venue will be Back Cowm Quarry and the new date will be Saturday 3rd May. There have been British Rounds help at this venue before and it is jam packed with top stuff to ride. The total land area is 150 acres - more than big enough! The location is 15 miles east and 10 miles south of Shipley Glen, and is within 7 miles of the M62 motorway. Please note that each rider is require to pay £2 entry fee to the venue to cover maintenance and insurance. Links to the location: Google Maps Flash Earth Map As a 'bonus', there will also be a street ride on 4th May - venue to be confirmed. See you there! Adam
  16. Try-All is about 30g heavier, Monty is a few grams lighter but the geometry is wrong for me!
  17. Yeah no worries, it's a while since I had the PR but I'll do my best!
  18. Oops, the rotors are Gusset R-Series: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=10266 At 6ft, I don't see why you couldn't ride one - a nice high/long stem and some riser bars and it'd be pretty roomy
  19. Because pooing doesn't take any weight off your bike
  20. Really? To be honest I've not had enough time on it yet, but initially it doesn't feel overly flexy at all.
  21. That's what I'm swaying towards (and for the same reasons)... cheers people!
  22. I just totted it up and it comes to about £1550 I think, not too bad. Oh and the pedals are Wellgo MG-1s Dave I need some Ti axles
  23. Its about 20g... I didn't weight it, honest But I couldn't get a 3/32 on the rear sprocket... which saves about 20g over a steel one. So I decided to go for red pimpness instead
