  1. Nah I think you misunderstood... check my 2nd post!
  2. It's a Try-All 125 x 25 stem... works for these boys :wink2: and we think it's about the right height too! http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=118467
  3. Info here: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=10356 Cheers
  4. If you like, yep! See below... See below... Got it in one
  5. A surprisingly light 8.6kg plus pedals! 1030, 362, +45... classical 'long' geometry. Adam
  6. It is indeed, plus a street ride on the Sunday... and a video competition with a cool prize to be announced shortly
  7. Nah, they are some protos we are testing... all black suede, no ankle sock.
  8. We built the bike... It's been really hammered, sorry, possibly the worst condition frame we've ever had returned - this is why we offered to help out with the half price replacement/credit.
  9. Just Ali showing off his skills Riding along... Stan looking annoyed at him, hah. Little gap Pics of other people when they can actually ride it haha. Hopping and doing small gaps/ups is pretty easy but 'riding' it is pretty hard... looking forward to learning! Ads
  10. Because that's just an old frame sprayed up? A couple of the protos had disc mounts but they broke. Bike looks kinda weird for me... very different but not sure I like it :$ Edit: The geo on TartyBikes is claimed and depends on forks. Alis measured up at about +5mm BB. Edit: Jesus this thread moves fast... first comment regarding the disc mount.
  11. Won't be out cos I'm still dying and busy tonight
  12. http://89.149.242.87/~trials/forum/index.p...ails&id=878 Try that... Nice stuff Wad, suprised how quickly you've got used to it! What do you think so far then? Gear ratio any better too?
  13. Yes, Vincent said he wanted them on. I'm not sure they help but if you wanna save the extra gram or 2 you know what to do...
  14. Right... if I'm there (chest still feels pretty dodgy) it'll be early... need to be back home, showered and back to Lancaster for 12 so looking to ride from about 9-9:30 onwards... Hopefully catch you (Tom, Rob, Dan) towards the end of the ride and then you can carry on after? No more PC for the rest of tonight but you all have my number in case you need to get in touch Ads
  15. Same here... hopefully will resolve itself?
  16. Haha, sorry, erm... pretty cool, know you can do better though... a good momento of first ride I'm sure
  17. Try this: http://89.149.242.87/~trials/forum/index.p...load&id=877
  18. I know this isn't perfect... but I often try putting the road name and county into Google - more often than not some random business address pops up with a postcode on it... then just bash it in Google maps to check! http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&s...earch&meta= Edit: Also found this: http://www.surreysb.co.uk/venues/hook-woods.htm
  19. Haha love the penny farthing! 3.30 mins and 6 mins are the best bits Holy crap at the backwards gap
  20. My suggestion would have been to find a crazy recipe to cook up, but it looks like I'm gonna be too late if you've already gone to buy food
  21. I would completely disagree with that... Even people who are 'trained mechanics' are often completely useless, even with the most simple of things! Anyway, regarding the thread... as far as a job goes, working in a bike shop isn't that bad. As someone said though, bikes can become your job instead of your passion if you're not careful. I'm not saying I would take the same decision (In fact I was in a very similar position and didn't - ended up with 4 A levels (proper old type ones, none of this AS shizzle ) and a degree) but make sure you consider all the other options from all angles as there may be something else more beneficial to you (and I'm not just taking about money) in the long run
  22. The Calzaghe fight is at like 2.30... Just found this forum, they reckon someone will stick a link up nearer the time: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=3
  23. http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com :wink2: Works mint, watched a couple of footie matches on it today! You have to use IE by the way... Edit: Bitches. Looks like you have to download some 'free software' (that will rape your PC) to watch the boxing
