  1. Yeah there's about 340 to sort though and won't have chance tomorrow (or tonight - just got back from bowling!). Street ride tomorrow will be in Liverpool, we should be there for 10:45, Vince needs to be at the airport for 3:30 so we need to start fairly early. We're looking to meet at a car park on the corner of South Ferry Quay and Coburg Wharf, postcode L3 4EW: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=e...&iwloc=addr People coming so far: Ad Bessell Ad Bigman Dan Brooker Rob Clarke Fatmike Matt Burrows Phil Selectbikes Brett Rimfolder Craig Lambton Stan Ali Me Few other locals And some French bloke who rides a Koxx and is quite good... Hope to see you there, sorry for the short notice but we needed to leave it til the last minute for weather, travel arrangements etc! Cheers Adam
  2. Good ride today, plenty of good riding going on so hopefully we'll see some decent videos! Cheers Ads

    Dangerous Dave ?

Dangerous Dave = legend There's a 'history' of all his vids on OTN somewhere...
  5. Try OL13 0BB - that's a Learndirect building where you turn off the main road, then from there you can see the quarry. Just head to the back of the Learndirect car park (to the right after you go in), then up the hill http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=e...&iwloc=addr
  6. I was gonna say just that... it's pretty random but it sticks and you just associate the name with bikes eventually. Select Bikes... Clean Bikes... Trials Man... (no offence intended!) all sound a little weird too. Anyway, about the new Onza.com... back on track, haha... I think it's hard to give feedback without anything to feed back from!

    Headsets?

The advantages to ceramic bearings are lower rolling resistance, less need for grease and lighter (by about the same as a small housefly).... disadvantages are lower static load capacity (more brittle than steel). Out of Hope, Tensile and King I chose the Hope - easy to get spares, split wedges top and bottom, adjustable seal preload, lots of colours For less money the FSA Orbit Equipe is awesome.
  8. It depends on the weather really... it will be north west ish though, will announce late Saturday/first thing Sunday...
  9. Whack the forces up and see what happens Gotta be some 'hanging' effect then?

    Solution to original post...
  11. Hmm, had thought of that but wasn't sure there would be much interest... What do you reckon?

  13. Yeah that's no problem at all (As long as they don't mind you filming them!)
  14. Some of you may have seen that Vincent Hermance is in the UK this weekend: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=114697 In order to ensure there is plenty of footage available for those who who can't make it, we are running a video competition as follows: Basic rules: - Videos can be of any length, with or without music and include any other footage (as long as it is mainly riding!). - Videos should be posted in this thread (with a youtube, tv.isg.si, trialstube etc link) before midnight Sunday 18th May. - I will select a top 3 videos from those submitted and then Vincent himself will pick the winner from this shortlist. Prizes: A set of prototype Try-All CNC brake clamps complete with a set of titanium Try-All bolts. Also a 60cm x 60cm KOXX banner signed by Vincent when he was over here. If you have any questions just shout, otherwise good luck and see you on the rides! Adam
  15. Might get my arse there... will let you know boys
  16. An 18t 'chainring' is a screw on sprocket: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=10409 (as long as you have the right cranks)
  17. Koxx, Czar, Echo? Bike looks cool, as I said before, suprised at how well yellow and orange goes together!

  20. Natural has a habit of doing that haha
  21. It's off to Australia! It's a Try-All 'light' chain. As above, like with the bar/stem - all the pros use it and doesn't seem to harm them...
