  3. I did... works now though, cheers!
  4. Any chance of a pic of the dropout and/or the hanger that fits it? Should be able to work out what you need from that! Ads
  5. Luuurrvely! Rocks by the sea = Where are they by the way? Edit: Ullapool I'm guessing... Edit again: Holy crap that's a long way North... Hows the bike too? Find it stiffer than the Czar?

    Mono Trial

Yep, thats the way to do it... make sure its REALLY clean afterwards though, silicone spray/lube ruins pads...!
  7. And grind your rim every 2 rides... and keep moving your pads every few weeks when they wear... or use TPA to make your brake feel rubbish... and get annoyed when you split the crossover... and have the performance deteriorate over time until you re-grind... and have poo brakes in the wet... and your bike sounds silly because it squeaks like god knows what (unless you have a smooth rim... in which case you brake barely works if theres a drop of water or a particle of dust near it)... Ok I think that's enough Good point
  8. The website says the Portland round was on 28th June... and 29th June... I am assuming 28th is a typo as the 29th is Sunday? Is the Heysham round on the same date? Tried to download an entry form (http://www.ukbiketrial.co.uk/docs/Entry_Form_Round_2_Heysham_2008.doc) but no luck...
  9. I agree, although even a 160mm (on 20") is enough for my 14 stone fat ass!
  10. Ah cool... well I'm heading down from Northampton on Sat morning, probably be going past Bessell's in Towcester, could maybe arrange a lift somehow if you can get to either of those? Give us a shout at Tarty (email or phone) and I'm sure we can sort something

  18. Hi guys, Ozonys have strengthened their frame range for 2008. First up is the XS26 as ridden by Ali C: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=112577. Geometry (when measured with Echo Urban fork, sold separately) Wheelbase: 1085mm Chainstay Length: 383mm BB Rise: 25mm Head Angle: 72 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 680mm (26.75") The frame is designed to be super stiff and strong with good all-round geo. Being mainly aimed at street riders (S for 'Street') with a weight of 2.143kg/4.73lbs (for the silver frame) it is not the lightest, but Ali's given his a pounding so far and it's resisting dents really well, something super light frames are not known for doing. It has a built in booster plate and also a +40 rear disc mount. It is available in Anodised Brown (shown below, does not come with Trialtech graphics as on this picture, the one below is Ali's frame) or Brushed Silver, both at an RRP of £399. Next is the XR26 (R for 'Race') and is being ridden by Stan Shaw this season: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=120711 Geometry (to be confirmed, when measured with Echo Urban fork, sold separately) - Stans bike has an Atomz fork on for the moment so this geo isn't confirmed yet. Wheelbase: 1090mm Chainstay Length: 383mm BB Rise: 40mm Head Angle: 72 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 680mm (26.75") This frame is designed to fit in between the Cannibal and the XS26, having slightly thicker tubes than the Cannibal (and this stiffer and stronger) without any excess weight. A new CNC machined seatstay/top tube joining block is the coolest feature of the frame, but it also has a +40 rear disc mount and built in booster plate like the XS26. Stan's frame tipped the scales at around 1.89kg but I will confirm this when the production batch arrive. Available in just one colour scheme as shown, the RRP will £599. These are expected in the UK in around 2 weeks. There will also be some 20" frames (XR20 Long and XR20 Short) available soon, more news on those when it is available. For now, they can be seen on the Ozonys website, http://www.ozonys.com Thanks Adam
  19. You bought them all or something?
  20. Haha... well... I think the increases will come into place gradually as stocks run out etc. Regarding the pedal prices - yes, we have reduced the RRP (and thus our profit margin) to get them to a more attainable level.
  21. Yeah exactly. Duty and VAT would usually account for ~£20 (or more in some cases) on a £100 item. All bike-related items are set to increase in price very soon, yes, some by up to 40%
  22. Aah I see, cool. Well, my guess would be just that they ran out of stock and they can't get any more - I know that we can't order Ti axles from DMR. I don't believe the pedals to be any different, the shop in Hong Kong certainly have less people in the chain (manufacturer, person in Hong Kong, you) and this is where they can cut the price. Strictly speaking there should be duty and VAT on top of that price (which companies will pay, thus increasing the price) but I am sure there will be some tax-dodging going on from eBay. Yeah of course, understand It's like buying anything, if you want the brand name then it costs more.
  23. £45, out of stock, different pedal...
