  1. DOB/Try-All... however the rim has died so I am currently modifying something The Kamel rear rim isn't that light, ~500g.
  2. Found these My 'Ultimate Hardware' And Dan's Spooky Bandwagon with 1-piece cranks which bent every week!
  3. That's just the join. Tighten the two spokes either side of the join and it will pull together (and stop bashing so much in future ) Edit: Oops, too slow...
  4. I just had a closer look and there does seem to be some sort of strands in there, hmm... Don't understand why they would print fake carbon on top of real carbon though
  5. The fact that they are plastic, not carbon fibre! (You can see the pixellation on the fake carbon print on the first picture)
  6. The idea with the '4-finger' blade is that you still use one finger, it just increases the mechanical advantage of the system are therefore gives more braking power. They work really well but obviously make the brake a little more spongy. The shape is the same as the 'normal' 05+ blades, just longer.
  7. Which bars do you have, and which frame? Any headset spacers? Personally, I would go with the higher one EVERY time, but then I am weird
  8. Oops, sorry, missed this... forks are perfect so far, no problems at all. Giving them a good bashing too as you can see in the front wheel gaps in the pictures from Saturday! I'm not 100% sure - when we order from Monty, they just send the latest stuff they have in stock (usually). So, I think next time we need more 20" front white rims they will be this type, but can't guarantee it!
  9. Aktarus is a brand under K-124... so yep, there is an importer!
  10. Good stuff Hope cross-overs are stainless fittings by the way.
  11. Cheers man! It is now 'Add to Basket' button - it displays the stock on all the variations at the same time now instead of having to click each one to check it
  12. I don't think he is either, but hey, if you get paid to ride em....
  13. Just a helmet... Chopped up Trialtech sticker and really nice fading on the UCI stripes... Looks well sweet, Dan's done a good job! Ads
  14. Cost, there would still need to be a lockring which would have an easy-to damage thread (and add more cost), not enough space to fit it all on a 128mm BB, people would moan they have to buy a certain company's cranks AND freewheel...
  15. Haha... well I should have added socks, boxers and my glasses in that case
  16. Tarty Tee Koxx Shorts Ribos Helmet Job done!
  17. I would think about... 8.3-8.4kg with the spec you listed. (Missed bashplate/ring, axle bolts/washers, rear sprocket, snail cams, rim tapes, no ti/alloy bolts, and you'd have to make the tyres completely slick to get them to that weight!) Stuff from the list that could be lighter: Onza Hognesium pedals : 374grams meta TCS headset : 100grams alu nipples : 30.grams viz spokes : 200grams try-allBrakes : 772grams try-all foamgrips : 20.grams echo isis BB : 278grams Eno white industries freewheel : 199grams Dob rims : 656grams monty kamel brake rotors : 206grams try-all NUC stem : 250grams Is that crank weight right? Sounds horrendously light. Stuff like the chain and tubes wouldn't last all that long either I feel! Making light bikes is fun
  18. Haha... yeah it feels wank (for trialsy stuff) to me, but for bunnyhoppy stuff if does work well like you said... Ali's just a beast.
  19. The bars are not actually that high as the stem is 55x0 degree (I feel quite hunched when riding it). They are Aktarus bars, 3" rise. The ratio is 22:14!!
  20. Yeah... had to work... annoyed..! Glad you had a good day, hope everyone else did
