  1. Thomas Oehler: Funny-eyed guy from Lynx advert: I'll get Thomas to try and replicate the advert while he's over here next week haha
  2. Oh yeah, of course... I think it does a good job in that respect, I heard it was shown on TV too?
  3. Alrighty, cheers! Maybe online stores are OK to go on the list providing they do have the facility for potential customers to go and see a bike/parts?
  4. Thanks for posting it up Wes! For me, there was too much intro, too much filler, boring samey music and too much annoying sideways arty camera... argh! Amazing quality though and some really good filming. Kept watching waiting for something good to happen... haha. Come on your house and ski's crash was NASTY!!
  5. Still at least one update missing :wink2: (Although I do understand if you want to keep primarily online stores off the dealers list)
  6. I'll post pics and info as soon as they are ready for public viewing... there are a few other tweaks from the previous frame and some sweet new graphics too Release date isn't decided just yet. Cheers Adam
  7. Awesome riding spots, brilliant riding, great vid!! Makes me want a 26" again :$

    Wheels

Nothing at all wrong with alloy nipples, as Ali said, bit of lube, decent spoke key and some care is all that's needed. CX-Rays are great spokes but hellishly expensive and relatively flexy.
  9. New bike for Mr Felton... No King hubs or headset haha Few little tweaks from standard, Meta headset, Trialtech foam grips, Trialtech Magnesium pedals. Grind to be done when he gets it back home Ads

    The Olympics

    Goooooo Shanaze!!
  11. Where on earth did you hear that?
  12. Oh yeah, an M6 bolt in a stem is asking for death, but a beasty 10mm diameter one should be fine I reckon (and has proved to be fine on all the Echo etc hubs, even on the rear).
  13. Yeah that's what I reckon too... Martin says thanks for the comments
  14. Cheers Rob... Dammit, knew I had the name wrong, sorry!
  15. It's decided by a panel of judges -> http://www.bikebiz.com/news/29692/BikeBiz-...lists-announced
  16. Following what I thought was a wind-up phone call from Rob Poyser, I did some digging and found that TartyBikes is a finalist for 2008 Online Retailer of the Year in BikeBiz's Industry Awards! The 5 finalists in this category are: Chain Reaction Cycles Tarty Bikes Ultimate Bikes Cycle Store Custom Riders You can see the BikeBiz magazine here: http://www.bikebiz.com/print-edition?download and turn to page 15, or online here: http://www.bikebiz.com/news/29692/BikeBiz-...lists-announced A very shocked and excited Adam eagerly awaiting 6th October (results day)
  17. I guess so, but it creates a lot of un-necessary hassle/aggro and tarnishes the reputation of the product.
  18. We found the rims to be pretty good, but only for the right riders. The 'problems' came about with riders buying super lightweight rims then destroying them quickly even though we tried to steer them towards something more durable. Plus, DOB seem to have disappeared, no contact at all from them despite numerous emails
  19. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=127 :wink2:
  20. Not on the Sky range - check the pic!
  21. It really isn't difficult, there is plenty of access to both bolts, certainly more than the current frames which I had no problem with: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/bikes20/hoesel6.jpg
