  1. Inspiration from someone else's (super over complicated) solution: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=814096
  2. Think I'm gonna head to Blackpool or Morecambe... I'm in Morecambe tonight so don't wanna ride too far South... cheers for the suggestions though guys!

    New Echo Parts

It appears so, they will be in the 'Urban' range.
  4. I actually looked at that on the map earlier and thought 'I wonder if Matt Gibson knows if it's any good...' haha (I've been there before to stay with a mate)... but it's 3 hours from here Maybe visit one day! Cheers.
  5. Alrighty... might be horrendously muddy given the recent weather Just trying to think of somewhere else decent that might be closer for you too! Ads
  6. That's Back Cowm, near Whitworth... might be a bit of a trek for you Will, its over 2 hours... Cheers Alex and Muel, but it's a bit far for tomoro Ads

    Koxx Xc

Correct, most XC bikes don't, as riders have their own preferred pedals. The price was due to be around £3999, bit I'm not sure it will be available as a complete bike any more. The frame only will be around £1399...
  8. We have successfully fitted those parts (Adamant/GU/ZOO cranks, T-A freewheel and GU bash) onto a 128mm Gigapipe before - there is only a very small amount of clearance (about 0.4mm) but it does JUST work!
  9. Ja, it's Coppull... Need to go back this week
  10. Hence the massive increase in people nicking road signs etc to weigh them in! Abdab: I haven't got any more pics than on the Echo site just yet, no.
  11. Yeah, that's the trade-off - light frames = butted tubes = more cost. Combined with increased raw materials cost I think the price is has come out very reasonably.
  12. All the pics are on http://www.echobike.com (As I posted in the news earlier this morning but it hasn't been approved yet )
  13. All the parts are brand new, designed from scratch. As we have been told about before, most of the price rises are due to increased materials costs. Some are down to extra complexity in manufacture though (which usually comes hand in hand with lightweight parts).
  14. Well the shapes are all different too. Yes, the layout is the same but it is certainly not identical? As for the hub, again if you look closer you can clearly see it's not 'just the same hub with a bit machined out of it'. It does look similar, but then again there are only so many ways of making a lightweight front disc hub, they all look similar at a glance. None just yet...!
  15. New Control and Team frames: 09 Control 26": Long or Short, White or Silver, 1590g (Short, Silver version) 09 Team 20": 4 Bolt or Disc, White or Silver, 1450g (4-Bolt, Silver version, no bashplate on either) New 09 ZOO frames: 09 PYTHON, 4-Bolt Only, 1895g (no bashplate) 09 PITBULL, 4-Bolt Only, 2030g
  16. It does look pretty close, certainly not identical though (alloy clamp instead of carbon for example).
  17. There's still more to add, plus the TR and Urban ranges... and the new frames... The prices seem relatively high, but all the products that require bolts come with a FULL titanium bolt set included
