    Koxx Xc

Correct, most XC bikes don't, as riders have their own preferred pedals. The price was due to be around £3999, bit I'm not sure it will be available as a complete bike any more. The frame only will be around £1399...
  2. We have successfully fitted those parts (Adamant/GU/ZOO cranks, T-A freewheel and GU bash) onto a 128mm Gigapipe before - there is only a very small amount of clearance (about 0.4mm) but it does JUST work!
  3. Ja, it's Coppull... Need to go back this week
  4. Hence the massive increase in people nicking road signs etc to weigh them in! Abdab: I haven't got any more pics than on the Echo site just yet, no.
  5. Yeah, that's the trade-off - light frames = butted tubes = more cost. Combined with increased raw materials cost I think the price is has come out very reasonably.
  6. All the pics are on http://www.echobike.com (As I posted in the news earlier this morning but it hasn't been approved yet )
  7. All the parts are brand new, designed from scratch. As we have been told about before, most of the price rises are due to increased materials costs. Some are down to extra complexity in manufacture though (which usually comes hand in hand with lightweight parts).
  8. Well the shapes are all different too. Yes, the layout is the same but it is certainly not identical? As for the hub, again if you look closer you can clearly see it's not 'just the same hub with a bit machined out of it'. It does look similar, but then again there are only so many ways of making a lightweight front disc hub, they all look similar at a glance. None just yet...!
  9. New Control and Team frames: 09 Control 26": Long or Short, White or Silver, 1590g (Short, Silver version) 09 Team 20": 4 Bolt or Disc, White or Silver, 1450g (4-Bolt, Silver version, no bashplate on either) New 09 ZOO frames: 09 PYTHON, 4-Bolt Only, 1895g (no bashplate) 09 PITBULL, 4-Bolt Only, 2030g
  10. It does look pretty close, certainly not identical though (alloy clamp instead of carbon for example).
  11. There's still more to add, plus the TR and Urban ranges... and the new frames... The prices seem relatively high, but all the products that require bolts come with a FULL titanium bolt set included

    New Echo Parts

Pictures on th Echo website: http://www.echobike.com/ I will update with specs and weights when the topic has been approved Thanks Adam
  13. Some awesome ones in here: http://fantasticcontraption.com/forum/view...p?f=3&t=401 One of the best IMO: http://fantasticcontraption.com/?designId=600855 (not one of mine) Nobody try to claim them as their own
  14. Yeah there's one in Coppull (posted some pics from there the other night), quite near our old unit actually. You're welcome to come out with us for a blast one night, just let me know
  15. Awesome, hope you like it! Adam
  16. Really chuffed with how this one came out Ads
  17. Damn Friday afternoons... cheers Stan doesn't work here any more, no.
  18. Not disc only though But yes, damn hard (virtually impossible) to break!
  19. The warranty period is 6 months but we do generally offer a half price replacement (or half the value of the original forks towards a different set) between 6 months and a year. Disc only steel forks... really quite rare, certainly nothing trials specific is produced nowadays.
  20. The Controls and Urbans are the same strength on our experience, they share the same steerer and disc mount (which is where a fork will break if anywhere), just the Control's are a little lighter/less stiff due to a bit less material in the legs.
  21. Disc only forks = no stress risers half way down the legs = no cracked forks Cormac, even though the forks are out of their warranty period we should be able to help out, if you want to send them back just let me know. Cheers Adam
  22. More pics from tonight at Preston... Starts at the left of the pic and then loops round. Great for pumping, can easily get round the track without pedalling and going over the finish line at a good jogging pace! Ali whipping it out Jon Ali again Jon mini-tweak And again over a tricky double Ali styling it up 3rd double on the straight... REALLY hard to carry any speed to this point. Ali stylin it over the ~20ft double at the end of the first straight Hope you like Ads
