Yeah, the stem/frame/bars combo is the main thing... You can make a bike feel COMPLETELY different by just changing the stem. In my opinion, if you can't pull the bike up into a manual from rolling along then the bars are too low/frame is too long/stem is too long for you
The Echo Lite is unchanged. The Team has either 4-Bolt OR Disc mounts. Echo's stated geo fo the '09 Team is, when measured with Echo SL 365mm x 45mm fork: Wheelbase: 1005mm Chainstay Length: 362mm BB Rise: 55mm Head Angle: 72 degrees
Yes, it will be VERY tight, when you pedal it tightens the freewheel on... you need to bolt the tool into the freewheel, put the tool in a large vice, and then use a 1m long pipe to twist the crank arm away from the freewheel... does that make sense?
Muel's on about the bolts in his bike (which he just bought from me)... the rest are steel. But as you say, yep, pretty much all the bolts in the Echo range are 4Al-6V Titanium now!
It'll have to be standard parcels, a frame is over the size limit for 1st Class (Although some Post Offices who are a bit slow will still let stuff of this size through on 1st Class)
You don't NEED a booster but it will be mega flexy without... the best booster is a 2-Bolt, as the bolts for the bottom are M6 and won't pass through a 4-Bolt booster (plus the vertical spacing is likely to be incorrect).
Ok cool... Well the black 'elbows' need to fit against the frame/fork, then the booster over the top to stiffen everything. I would bolt the adaptors on both sides (bin the QR as it slips too easily)... Really hard to explain but I can't find a picture!
