  1. Hey Andrei, This is perfectly normal and there is always very very little brake pad movement on disc brakes too What you need to do is: Using some tissue paper to stop your fingers from touching the rotor (and therefore contaminating it), pull the rotor across against the pad which is out the furthest, making it retract a little. Pull the brake a few times - you will see the other piston move out. Then let go of the rotor and pull the brake a few times, repeat the above steps (can be done to either pad) until the rotor sits in the middle of the pads. You may have to do this a few times throughout the bedding in process of the brake, but once it is settled you won't need to touch it again. Cheers Adam
  2. Denied. In all seriousness, it's more of a 'sit down and push yourself along with your feet so you get used to obstacles' type bike.
  3. Top stuff Sam, look to be getting on with the bike well! See you in the New Year for a bit of a ride... Ads
  4. I am not a fan of the 'O ring' mounting on any CNC backings, but surely the issues you found with the Plaz backings was down to their shape, not the fact they were mounted with an O ring?
  5. Geo depends on forks, Ali's is 1085, 380, +30 at the moment.
  6. You can see the bashring on the 5th bike pic on K-124 :wink2:
  7. Hello all, Ali C has a new ride for 2009: Ali will also receive full parts and accessories sponsorship from Trialtech. You can see pics and further info here: http://k-124.co.uk/riders.php and here: http://trialtech.co.uk/rider.php?rider_id=7 Cheers! Adam
  8. http://www.trialtech.co.uk/video.php?video_id=15 As everyone has said, really great vid Stan Will have to get a ride in soon.
  9. I think you must have been looking at the weight of the Sky range. The weight of the Hydroxx 20" has always been quoted as 8.5kg, which I think will be true for the short model with Dual HS33s and no pedals.
  10. Feedback from our customers indicates that the Inspired is still really good for 'real' trials, especially with a slightly longer stem. You can see Ali riding here and he still makes 1.35m hook really easily: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rm-HcE54k4k You can see some pretty huge trials moves from Dave Marshall here too: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=92rMlZfmkJE&...feature=related Hope that helps! Adam
  11. Usually we fit them in the same way we would remove a sprocket/FW so it's perfectly aligned.
  12. Looks like someone hasn't fitted it quite right so it's moved round as the freewheel/sprocket has nipped up.
  13. You can also use Magura Louise and Marta, but only the older style IS calipers.
  14. And you a midget This is a kid's bike: http://k-124.co.uk/product.php?product_id=...category_id=195 Looks awesome though, can't wait to see some in the flesh!

  16. Yeah, the paintwork is really tough, mine have been in and out of a tight-fitting stem a few times now and the paint is still intact Hurry though as the offer will change in a few hours Ads
  17. And some pics of mine are here: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....775&hl=mixx (scroll down a bit)
  18. As Ali always says - try doing press-ups with your hands miles apart... Really hard work! Wider bars = better control though (more leverage over the forks) in my experience...
  19. Nope but French-ID (sub-brand of K-124, like Koxx is) do: http://k-124.co.uk/brand.php?id=4, http://k-124.co.uk/search.php?category_id=41
  20. Yep, as all XC and road bikes.
  21. Well not really: http://rbdesign.sk/image2/ergo_1f_01.jpg We found a couple of the TR levers to have slightly undersized seals, we are currently checking all our stock and replacing the seals in those which aren't perfect. Cheers Adam
  22. I'll get one on the scales of truth when they arrive here...
  23. You can't - the inserts have an allen key fitting for removal.
