  1. Really cool man One thing that I think you may benefit from... have you tried a little more pressure in the rear tyre? It will feel less bouncy at first, but if you put more effort in the preload before you do a move, the tyre will give you even more spring back. I understand if you have tried it or don't want to, but Stan, Ali and I have found that the Rubber Queen works better with around 5psi more than a Maxxis (for example)... Thanks for the vid!
  2. You'll be seeing this before him so feel privileged Mostly Trialtech parts with Stone Edge headset, Rockman hubs, ENO freewheel, Try-All cranks, Try-All Croco pads. Weight 9.46kg. The frame is meant to run 17:14 but we were able to get the more popular 18:15 ratio to work Cheers Adam
  3. Shouldn't do, although you know what customs are like.......... To Australia from here I get a price of around £80 / USD $116 with insurance included, we can do Ireland for £12 or £20 with insurance, UK approx £8 or £12 with insurance.
  4. I understand, but with an email it is possible to ignore them... if you send an actual written letter and send it so it requires a signature to receive it, then you can prove it arrived. I hope that can help...
  5. While I totally understand the $100 cost I can see how it's really difficult for people to stomach... What about if each country's 'group' of riders was responsible for getting the frame into and around their country, splitting the cost evenly? I guess that would make the UK the cheapest by far (lots of riders, cheap postage between us) and some other countries alienated a bit... hmm... it's a tricky one. Either way we (TartyBikes) have some pretty good UPS worldwide rates and amazing european rates, so if I can help just let me know.

  9. Hello and welcome to the forum! It always amazes me how good all overseas rider's English is... Unfortunately we have had quite a few calls from customers asking how they can get in touch with Dan recently. I think the 'best' way (from checking sites like consumer direct) is to write a letter outlining your issue, including all your contact details, then ask for him to contact you within a certain period of time. Send it with a Royal Mail recorded delivery service so it requires a signature on arrival, this way you can prove it has arrived. Then, if no contact is made within the (realistic - 5 days or something) time period you asked, contact trading standards.

  15. Ok, all 8 have now returned a positive response so we're good to go! Ideally we would like the remainder within 1 week if possible, as that only gives 3 weeks to ensure bookings of chunnel, MPV hire, dorms etc. and sort out a secondary driver: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=512 Cheers! Adam
  16. Ah sweet, glad it's worked out well... Look forward to pics!

  22. Hi guys, Here's some pictures of the new Koxx White Sky bike. Geometry: 1010mm wheelbase, 375mm chainstay (along their length, not horizontal), +85mm BB rise, 585mm 'reach'. Hope you like! Cheers Adam
  23. 18t freewheels are much more reliable, gives better gear ratio, works better with the frame (for brake alignment mainly). The hollow pin chain is death, and the top cap is lighter than all the carbon ones I've ever seen (it's drilled).
