  1. 73mm on that frame Something like the Because, Truvativ, Onza, Neon or SKF works best (with spacer removed).
  2. They've been around for yonks but we chose not to get them in because the geo isn't very current, they are butt ugly (IMO!) and pretty pricey (about £300). If there is enough call for them we can get some in no probs though!
  3. Few pics of Ali messing about on his XC bike Gap up to front Dropgap Accurate Gaps across the top of the spool and drop! Just like trials 10 years ago Ads
  4. But you could if you saved up for about 18 months :wink2: I can't really help with the finance question, sorry, but I'm of the same opinion as George and Jon!
  5. Chainring bolt Not actually essential because your wheel will hold it in place, but they are handy
  6. The frames aren't all the same though, there are huge differences. Just like with ANY product, the higher end stuff has much more put into it. Example: 'Cheap' frame: - Plain gauge tubing with simple shapes (Echo lite) - Less CNC work (Echo Lite) - Made to lower tolerances (Da Bomb etc) - Standard sticker graphics (ZOO Pitbull) - Basic paint finish or just lacquered (Echo/ZOO/Adamant) Car analogy: BMW (cos this type of trials bike frame is MUCH better than a Halfords special/Kia) 'Expensive' frame: - Butted or hydroformed tubing, extra bends, complex profiles (Hydroxx, Monty Kamel, Limey 3) - Lots of CNC work (Koxx XTP/Sky) - Made to higher standards, better welding, higher tolerances (Koxx) - Anodised finish or water transfers, even fade anodising like in the case of the Rockman! (Kortz, Slate) - Cost of supporting a huge world team with equipment, travel expenses etc... (Monty, Koxx) Car analogy: Ferarri Get what I mean? Ads
  7. There's plenty of frames at £300 though... You can't expect a BMW for Kia money, or a Rolex for Casio money, it's the same with anything...
  8. Built this on Friday but only just got chance to stick the pics up: Geo: Wheelbase: 1100mm Chainstay Length: 380mm BB Rise: 60mm Head Angle: 70.5 degrees Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube: 670mm Weight: 10.08kg Cheers Adam
  9. Yep, everyone will use proper (disc) brakes

    F1

Crazy news, my grandma will be happy!!
  11. Doesn't work without quite a few custom parts.
  12. Got any instructions with it? :wink2: DO NOT mix into a paste or you will burn straight through whatever tub you do it in, haha. Anyway me and Stan did a rim of his a while back, looked perfect. Mix it pretty strong (around what they recommend for unblocking toilets) and rub it on with a sponge (use gloves of course), then rinse with warm water or a hose pipe.
  13. And more riders than any other country I reckon.
  14. TRA has had his turn now and the frame is nearing being ready to ship over to the UK. I'm really struggling to ride trials at the moment (broken hand a few weeks back - haven't ridden trials for about a month) so would like to open the offer out to someone else. Anyone? Maybe if all UK riders club together to pay the delivery cost in getting it here that would be 'fairer' than the first person stumping up for all of it? I would be happy to help co-ordinate if required. Cheers Adam
  15. That's why they brought these out: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...category_id=125 Sooo grippy, very comfy and look good too!
  16. Well Ryan's meant to be promoting the bike (no offence Ryan, I understand about rear wheel issues just before the comp!) and it looked pretty poor. It's not even a good photoshop job
  17. Cos it looks much better than yellow :wink2:
  18. In my opinion, a bargain for £170!
  19. Ali has the XS (and liked it), Stan had the XR.
  20. I agree, for comparison... http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=57 !
  21. Could always consider the TR, it's the same as the SL just slightly lower quality finish and 72 engagements instead of 108. Loud lol
