You need to turn the lever upside down or it doesn't work properly.

Cheers dude I worked on this product at uni (that exact garment in the video actually!) so knew the idea was sound, but wasn't sure how it would translate to something less cardiovascular based like trials. Anyway, it's a 2XU one, find it really really good, mainly for thermal regulation though in trials. Ride with it all the time now (since it's been so cold recently), very comfortable. Ridden XC in it a few times too, mega awesome for that. I'm pretty sure it has helped me with recovery too, used to be quite stiff the day after a long ride but not recently.

Few from Matlock last weekend. Sunny weather! Big tricky tap (photo doesn't do it justice) Gap up from the rock on the right Random snap at 180mm focal length. Dropgap (photo again doesn't do it justice) And some from a rather grey Addingham Moorside yesterday: Gap up to front Sidehop setup And landing Preload... And landing Sidehop to rear from a rock out of shot (big) Batman on VERY small pointy rock Checking out the gap Preload Landing Mid-gap Cheers to Stan for the photos of me Ads

Not quite. The steerer on the Trialtechs is stronger, and the legs are stiffer.

Despite this we were able to offer 50% of the value of the ZOO off any other frame. Apologies for the off topic. Glad you like the new frame anyway, looks good, simple and clean frames for the win! Enjoy

Actually they aren't, both bars have a rise of 88mm. http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...category_id=138 http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...category_id=138 (check the 'Geometry' at the bottom) The V!Z bars are lighter as they are narrower, they don't need as much beef in the centre to keep them strong

That's how our media guides came about Even at discount price it was pretty expensive (for us)...

Ooh, see she is quite interesting, rather than just some plastic slag! (Did I just say that? lol)

Cheers for your constructive and mature comments! This is something we have thought about, but the logistics of it may be a bit of a nightmare... The cost of decent video production is pretty massive (we had those video guides done recently), but maybe if rider's clips could be collated and edited into one video by one person that could go a long way towards bring it together? With the quality of current web videos it wouldn't really feel fair charging for a Tarty video (if done as above), but if a proper production was made (which would run to multiple thousands of pounds) then it would 'have' to be sold I think... Cheers again!

I understand, but what else would you like to see offered? If you have any suggestions, as I said above, please let me know Only at the very top level can athletes expect free product, wages, etc. For going on a few street rides with your mates and having a good attitude to riding, I think discounted parts is pretty sweet. When I started riding, sponsorship of anyone who didn't ride in the world champs was pretty much unheard of, it's cool that trials has grown and allowed this sort of thing to happen in my opinion.

Yeah I see what you mean Lewis, I'm about 90kg too so find the same. I'm still confused though, but we'll leave it at that

Yo, New video from a local guy, Martin Donnelly. (I have no idea about the music lol) Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">

Oh yeah, of course, you can't recommend a customer bleeds a brake with water without letting them know the effects on their warranty!
-
Good question! It will include: - Reduced price products, anything from free of charge to a discounted rate, the discount varies depending on the rider. - Free clothing, stickers, chainstay protectors to allow you to promote the company. If you have any ideas of other reciprocal benefits that could be considered just let me know Edit: Junior means younger riders, if you prefer it to be specifically categorised then I guess 'Under 16'.

That's a mixture of aluminium and emulsified oil residue, nothing to do with the water. If you put mineral oil in there you'd get the same thing.

Yeah, there's still a few bits apparently, but I've not been able to find the yet...

Hi guys, At the moment our team of sponsored riders is pretty large and we would like to cut it down to a 'core' of riders across a range of disciplines, ages and wheel sizes. To ensure the process is as fair as possible we have asked all our current riders to re-apply for sponsorship and are also opening the slots out to new riders (those who aren't existing TartyBikes Team riders). The general areas we would like to fill with at least one rider in each are: - International (either 20", 24", 26" street or competition) - Junior (either 20", 24", 26" street or competition) - Competition (20", 26" or both) - Street (20", 26" or both) - 24" - Demo team We would like to have the new 2010 team all sorted out before the end of February. If you wish to make an application, please email tartybikes[at]gmail.com with the title '2010 Sponsorship Application'. Applications should ideally include a couple of links to web videos/pictures you have shot in the last few months, list of any events you have attended/won last season (obviously some riders will be more biased towards one of these than the other), your plans for next year, how you think you can benefit TartyBikes and the sport of trials in general, plus anything else you would like to add. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Many thanks! Adam

What Would Be Considered Light For A 20" Bike?
AdamR28 replied to cbskiddies's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I would say around 8.75kg or less. Price would depend on spec, but no less than around £1300 I think. -
Cos they aren't the same as the ones on MTB chains In my experience the Z610HX is awesome, the RB version isn't 'stretch proof' and won't last nearly as long.

Very weird! I found the Ashton frames to be pretty forgiving (their design would indicate that too)! Did you change any parts at the same time as the frame Lewis?

Cheers dude! Some photos of your set-up might be useful actually, I'll dig them out and add to this thread now...
