  1. Yes. Having to sort it every time someone buys multi coloured nipples.... fail.
  2. Something like zip ties is perfect I reckon, massive worldwide market that's complete hands off once you've sold the rights/patents. I'd steal the paperclip!

  4. All sorted, cheers for calling dude For info, that's an 'IS' type fitting, which means he would need a +20 IS adaptor as Rob says
  5. They are good hubs, but you'll have the same problem as now unfortunately. You'll need a 'real' 116mm hub, so anything from Echo or Rockman will fit perfectly. Adam
  6. Surprisingly true. It's very tempting just to hit the brakes if they are there. I tried a bit of brakeless-ness last night and as soon as I went out of control the brakes went on...
  7. If you've got a K710 and it's been strong enough, try the K810 - it's the same strength, lighter and will fit through a Rohloff. As for the modification, you just take the washer out from underneath the circlip on the upper wheel. Cheers Adam
  8. ... that will be cheaper to start with, and look better than a nice frame with a big piece of plastic hanging off it.
  9. A harsh grind doesn't mean a good grind. That one on Stan's bike is pretty poor, the first grind on a new rim never seems to come out well. http://tartybikes.co.uk/media.php?group=guides&id=2
  10. Nah, something much more interesting...
  11. You have no idea how often that happens to us too... haha. Glad it's sorted anyway
  12. That's good, sounds like the perfect level of involvement to me. I'd love to just sit and chill out building wheels all day!
  13. Nearly... the video I posted below goes into full detail. I think that's answered in the video too...
  14. Mark or Stan for the lose Cheers, changing now...
  15. Pretty close - it's the same value in pounds as the cost of a 1st Class stamp (41p). If you sent a set of forks 1st Class there is a reasonable chance they will come back to you or just get 'lost' in the postal system. Forks are over the size limit for 1st Class (you should have been told this at the Post Office when you posted them...). Get a claim on the go then use that money to refund him
  16. Done it a few times before, just clamp them together in a vice and use a round file (approx 8-10mm diameter). Works perfectly.
  17. Yeah, cheap isn't it! (Not sarcasm by the way, that is a bloody amazing price considering the machining and the cost of raw Ti.)
  18. Yeah Ti headset only in gold, like the rest of the Ti stuff.
  19. Pretty sure that's one of the first things people would try, although it doesn't actually make a noise if your rotor is loose.
  20. Yes, be patient young padowan...
