  1. Still ride there every now and again, also Heysham and Lancaster (rarely)... Not many riders around there now though
  2. I've never seen a set of Echo SL clamps break...?
  3. That's because it's also a biomechanical fact They certainly do, awesome clamps....
  4. Yeah, nobody seems to make a white hub in 'proper' 116 The Reinforced is quite a lot tougher, if you don't care about weight I would go with that!
  5. Here's how I do it: http://tartybikes.co.uk/media.php?group=guides&id=3
  6. Neither of those in the UK
  7. Yes. Having to sort it every time someone buys multi coloured nipples.... fail.
  8. Something like zip ties is perfect I reckon, massive worldwide market that's complete hands off once you've sold the rights/patents. I'd steal the paperclip!

  10. All sorted, cheers for calling dude For info, that's an 'IS' type fitting, which means he would need a +20 IS adaptor as Rob says
  11. They are good hubs, but you'll have the same problem as now unfortunately. You'll need a 'real' 116mm hub, so anything from Echo or Rockman will fit perfectly. Adam
  12. Surprisingly true. It's very tempting just to hit the brakes if they are there. I tried a bit of brakeless-ness last night and as soon as I went out of control the brakes went on...
  13. If you've got a K710 and it's been strong enough, try the K810 - it's the same strength, lighter and will fit through a Rohloff. As for the modification, you just take the washer out from underneath the circlip on the upper wheel. Cheers Adam
  14. ... that will be cheaper to start with, and look better than a nice frame with a big piece of plastic hanging off it.
  15. A harsh grind doesn't mean a good grind. That one on Stan's bike is pretty poor, the first grind on a new rim never seems to come out well. http://tartybikes.co.uk/media.php?group=guides&id=2
  16. Nah, something much more interesting...
  17. You have no idea how often that happens to us too... haha. Glad it's sorted anyway
  18. That's good, sounds like the perfect level of involvement to me. I'd love to just sit and chill out building wheels all day!
  19. Nearly... the video I posted below goes into full detail. I think that's answered in the video too...
  20. Mark or Stan for the lose Cheers, changing now...
