  1. Cheers - yeah, well, trick is to not put too much in to start with.
  2. Been playing around with carbon fibre, come out 'ok' for a first attempt I think!
  3. It's a manufacturer specific bearing unfortunately... As said, the Try-All ones are the same. I *think* (from memory) one of the larger sizes is a .5 too.
  4. So it looks cool (depending on your taste, of course).
  5. It's Ti-N coated (Titanium Nitride) - the same stuff they use on parts that are designed to have good wear resistance... ie. be very slippery! I know someone who had one and it just refused to work unfortunately.
  6. For batch production, there's no way they wouldn't use a jig, it would be way too slow. The weld distorts in cooling and heat treating, which could throw mounts off a little theoretically.
  7. I think the BB is much higher on the Hex than all decent jump frames...
  8. Finally found these, been looking for about a week! 16th Jan 2004, good times...
  9. ... so they can see how much of a tit you look in your chavved up Corsa, rather than passing by anonymously (kidding)
  10. 20-30mm in fact (pretty much bang on 10mm extra reach per degree steeper head angle).
  11. That obstacle = waste of £60k
  12. They are the same stem, choose the one you prefer the look of
  13. 19" rear rims, tyres and extra long V brake arms are more expensive than 20"-sized ones... that's about it really!
  14. Aah, now that makes sense... damn my crap brain...
  15. Cost - having 2x 20" wheels is the cheapest way to make an entry level bike. Many customers already say that £349 is quite a lot for an entry level bike, so if they have to spent over £400 it would make the sport look very difficult to get into.
  16. Hmm, which wheel exactly? What did Wheelpro say and what did we reckon?
  17. Is it definitely the ICE they have in stock? (Not the Ice 2)
  18. Haha, yeah for sure. Depends who the 'client' is I guess... As long as you know about and can work with both it's all good
  19. ACTUAL flange diameter is of no use/consequence really. If you put PCD then I think it would confuse people, but yes, anally (engineeringy? ) speaking it is 'hub flange PCD'.
  20. Bit of carbon fibre sheet from eBay, hacksaw, file, angle grinder, zip ties - job done.

Been speaking with Cédric and we should have something sorted out, frames due in a week or so if all goes well
  22. Around 1998 I think: 2001: Anyone else got some?
