  1. 1. That's just the nature of trials unfortunately! 2. And so might the Echo, but we need it back to check please! Posting photos on Trials-Forum never helps warranty claims. This could go on forever haha.
  2. Yeah, that's cos 1) Everything breaks sometimes, and 2) You'd already broken a Tensile. As I said yesterday, send it back and we'll take a look.
  3. *ears willy up* Cake? Edit: LOL, I typed 'prick'
  4. Echo often make rolling changes (such as the axle bolt washers which are different on the hub you have to the ones in the photos). I've emailed Echo to see what they say, but I can't see a problem using the hub like it is.
  5. Twenny-fo! Happy Birthday you slag
  6. Except for your heel half way along the spoke
  7. Same as a 60 click Tensile for those wondering.
  8. I believe they have a 22T setup in the pipeline
  9. If a T10 has rounded out though, the bolt must be pretty damn tight (or siezed), therefore a screwdriver isn't gonna get the bolt out. If you drill the head off, this will release the pressure on the threads, and whatever is left you can get out with a pair of pliers (or by hand). Using a hacksaw won't really help, and it's almost impossible not to nick the top cap with the blade in the process.
  10. As with most companies, communication with Atomz is relatively poor - we generally have no idea what's going on until its on their blog/FaceBook/Tribalzine. It looks like standard Atomz FW to me. As Mark said, it will be expensive separately - most manufacturers don't understand or cater for the UK market where we prefer to buy bits rather than a complete bike each 'season', they use the pimp bits to make the complete bikes look like good value.
  11. They are under the lacquer. Thanks, Adam
  12. And buy their own tooling so nobody else can use it.
  13. The Sapim Polyax ones are brass, much stronger than all alloy nipples.
  14. Well the first one was the Hoody on the Kenny Belay background. 2nd one: T-Shirt is in the additional information for Trialtech Foam Grips (our most popular item at the time the comp went live, so a link to it was pretty easy to find if you used the new 'Popular Products' link on the homepage) 3rd one: Shorts are in the Q&A for shorts. 4th one: Shoe was on the 'Upload Profile Image' page.
  15. Yeh, a deeper grind always lasts longer - to the detriment of brake performance usually (depending on pads), from my experience.
  16. Hopefully before Xmas for the frames, bikes... early Jan I reckon.
  17. Thank you to all who entered, the winner has been chosen! It's Scott Griffiths from Cambridgeshire - congratulations

    26"forks

I think that may have been taken out of context - Darren cracked some 4-Bolt Trialtech forks at the brake mounts, so he wanted some forks that were stronger in that area. The Rockman ones have that huge booster welded on, so naturally they are stronger at that point. Overall I would say the Trialtechs are stronger, especially with the updated brake mounts.
  19. My guess would be something like: 'They don't know how good it is' Well in this case... New headtube, new dropouts, new tubing profiles, completely new bashplate mount system, new disc mount. So that's... nothing the same as the previous model!
  20. Nowhere else sells them that I know of (they aren't available as a spare part from Magura), and I very much doubt we can get any more for the foreseeable future, sorry.
  21. Same - just the weight of the grinder (not even that!) will give a nice sharp grind.

    26"forks

Checking your bike over every now and then is really helpful if you know you are hard on parts, stuff will ALWAYS crank before it breaks. Ryan - we've never had any 20" Trialtech forks returned, if you have broken some and they were purchased from us please send them back.
  23. Well, sharp and deep are exclusive of each other. It ends up deeper if you push harder, but good technique gives a sharp grind. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media/guides/maintenance_rim_grinding/m2.html If your disc is a bit 'dull', give it a rub on some concrete to freshen it up.
