  1. Yeah that was my point, sorry if it wasn't clear.
  2. It's a slightly different venue to last year, but the nearest train station is now Abergele & Pen-Sarn (one along the line from Rhyl) which looks to be around 4 miles away.
  3. On the rear of the 20"? Its a Mono V2 (Mono lever, V2 caliper with 24mm phenolic pistons).
  4. Forks ALWAYS give warning before they snap, there will definitely be a dark grey area where the forks have been cracked before they broke.
  5. Thanks for the heads up - it's a shame that stuff has to clash but the summer is pretty busy so was going to be inevitable...
  6. Nah, need a milling machine as well
  7. Sweet Yep, exactly what we have in mind (but with a twist ). Plenty of techy low stuff as well as moveable square-edged obstacles for making gaps/sidehops etc. Once/if we get enough interest then we'll draw up a final 'plan' and let you guys know exactly how we plan to run it
  8. Having the event at the same time as the Woodfest did bring up exactly the problem you mentioned - people not wanting to ride in front of crowds. To counter this, we came up with the idea of building the same sort of demo stuff as last year in the main arena, then a separate 'Tarty Days only' area which was much bigger (in terms of floor area and variety of obstacles) than the demo setup. This would be open all the time and have more moveable obstacles, then once the Woodfest closes at 6pm the main demo area would be open for all to ride as well as the separate Tarty Days only bit. Hope that makes sense...?
  9. I think pretty much the only thing that's fixed is the date - Woodfest IS going ahead on those dates, and we would tag onto it
  10. Haha, I don't think I'm officially allowed to comment on that...
  11. Hello everyone! After a considerable amount of thought we have decided that Tarty Days 2011 could be on the cards, providing there would be enough support At the moment everything is very much at the pre-planning stage, so we don't have full details just ideas. Taking on board all the feedback from last year, we are aiming for: - At LEAST twice as much stuff to ride, specifically smaller/lower obstacles - Slightly more structure to the weekend for people to follow if they wish, however if you wanted to just chill and do some riding at your leisure that will be catered for too - Even more FUN stuff to ride (and do - we have some cool potential ideas) We are looking into tagging the event onto Woodfest (http://www.woodfestwales.co.uk/north/) which is ***NEW DATE*** 28th- 30th May 2011. Tagging onto this date has the major benefits of already having food stalls, other attractions (like axe throwing, nutters climbing those big poles, chainsaw sculpture carving, wood chopping competitions, etc), licensed bar on the Saturday night with live band, floodlights, parking attendants, on-the-door ticket facilities, camping on-site, toilets, showers etc... Basically, the whole idea of the weekend will be to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere for riders to enjoy and chill out. We would look to keep the cost similar, maybe with a small increase due to the added cost of bringing in extra obstacles, but like last year this will not be a profit making exercise and we'll most likely make a loss on it again. If you do have any questions I'll do my best to answer them, but at the moment this is just an idea so I may not be able to (or I'll end up thinking out loud). Big thanks already to Mr Matt Barlow for planting the seeds Cheers, Adam
  12. Quick little update... freewheels now how their sound levels listed For more info check out the relevant product pages
  13. Yeah, would need a taper needle to keep it all together I think? Starting to sound expensive Checked the tolerances on the bearing fit and they are good (H7/p6 - see above). I was editing that post when you posted so may not have seen it...
  14. Struggling to work out how that would be possible... (Unless that's internet sarcasm I've missed!) Trials riders + anything that needs a 2.5mm allen key or smaller = fail But yeah, that would probably do it! Not very 'standard practice' but don't see any reason why it wouldn't work...
  15. You might struggle to get the bearing past the pawl seats Ideally a circlip on one side and a lip on the other, but that would add 2-3mm to the width of the freewheel... The bearings have already been custom modified (width reduced) to make the freewheel slim enough. The fit on the bearings is pretty good, falls within H7/p6 spec.
  16. Erm, hard to say for sure without the proper geo of the Ozonys bars, but the Trialtech High Rise (which are different to the Sport bars) are the highest we know of.
  17. Cheers for the comments guys! I'll try and get some video footage sorted sometime soon... Regarding cost, I'm really not sure - the custom stuff would cost a lot, plus there's a fair bit of labour gone into tweaking certain bolts, the brake routing, etc - but I would guess at nearing £2.5k
  18. They WERE the same, now they are different. Cheers for the heads up
  19. Hi David, Tried to reply to your email but it said your inbox was full. Thanks, Adam
  20. If you suspend the outer over a vice and put a BB tool into the interface, tapping the BB tool will press the bearing out. They are kinda tricky to get back together again though with all those pawls, so I would recommend removing both the seals from the bearings instead (prise them out carefully with a sharp object) and spraying thin lube in through the bearings instead. Give the freewheel a spin as you do it and this should thin out the grease. Yeah, the bearings are press fit.
  21. They feel pretty much the same as the Rubber Queen, maybe a teeny bit more stable.
  22. I'll let you know when I've ridden it
