  1. You're doing it wrong How old is that frame then? Must be well over a year? I have a feeling a Zoot will be added to that list before very long at all...
  2. None at all, 20 or 26.
  3. Yes, but you won't need to, there is plenty of thread
  4. Fitted a set for Jack Carthy, no problems at all with the brake mounts. As with any 4-bolt fork though, never a bad idea to chase them through if you are concerned
  5. Not to worry, your shit was better than the flatland vid unfortunately - too much about the editing, not enough about the riding. Don't think there was actually a whole uninterrupted trick without the angle changing.
  6. Where's that? We certainly haven't had any reports of any breaking, sold quite a few. Usual thing applies for bike parts though: Cheap, light, strong - pick two.
  7. They are discontinued unfortunately. Try some Tioga rims, they are flippin good
  8. Ok - but you will strip the thread.
  9. 26" = 170 and 175 = bashring. 20" = 160 and 165 = bashplate.
  10. Personally I don't, since nearly every product will always give you some warning it's about to fail. If you want stuff to last longer, you just have to buy heavier parts.
  11. Pretty sure that is the case, it's the same for us when dealing with them. Either way, at 8 months old the forks have done well. In the past when we have offered goodwill reduced price replacements like this, it always comes back to bite you, with the customer trying to claim another warranty on the second set, and it just turns messy. This could be their reason for a 'tight' warranty procedure. If your car had a 3 year warranty, but was 8 years old, you wouldn't go to the dealer asking for replacement parts or even a goodwill gesture...
  12. Black one is discontinued, Green needs to be sold!
  13. Echo change their stuff a LOT - impossible to keep website 100% up to date. The dropouts you have are the latest design.
  14. Quite a bit, it seems! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_O6wC45BsKA Skip to 1:43!
  15. Agreed! Start of the vid, then 4:40: GoPro footage starts around 1:50, then at 3:00, more at 5:00, then from 9:40 onwards: It's all down to personal tastes I guess - if you are pretty passionate about filming and enjoy tinkering then I believe it's relatively easy to justify the cost. If you aren't too bothered then yes, it seems 'overpriced'.
  16. We can get the other 'Hero' ones in to order if you wish - Motorsports comes with the suction cup, and Naked comes with just one sticky mount and is £30 cheaper I think (which we can get in stock if you guys think that would be a better idea? Since you could put that saving towards a roll bar or ride mount), but we can't swap them over, sorry.
  17. Don't worry - we have an alternative in stock too, which should be on the site shortly. Personally I think the GoPro is amazing value for money - it's virtually the same quality as a £300 'normal' video camera, plus it can be mounted on your bike/helmet/arm/car/surfboard/etc.
  18. Hello all, Got a couple of GoPro HDs in for stock and decided to test one out. Had used one on my car with good results ( ), but set Stan loose on some rocks and this was the result: Some pretty cool angles, just takes a little time to set each one up. Cheers, Adam

    Koxx Snappage

Already cracked 7 year old frame in snapping shocker!
  20. Like you'd bed in a car - not rag the shit out of it from new. Gentle use, no trials.
  21. Like clearing up from riots? Chain them all together and make them scour the streets! (Slightly unrealistic, unfortunately)
  22. Ditto all of that. These people are better off not working because benefits mean you end up with the same amount of (or more) money for doing bugger all. I am completely in favour of the benefits system for people who GENUINELY need help, but people who COULD work but can't be bothered to really piss me off. I got my first job at 16 erecting marquees, working up to 100 hours a week at £2.50 an hour - get yourself a dog and a kid and you'll get at least that plus a council house for sitting on your arse* *Not sure of those exact figures, but I know of people who have quit their jobs because it made economical sense to do so. Edit: That maybe comes across a bit strong, I'm just angry at mindless people like this wrecking their own towns, and thinking it's fun: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14458424
  23. To clear some things up: - There is no such thing as a 'bad batch' of Echo SL freewheels, and we have certainly not had any. - Like most freewheels, you need to let the Trialtech bed in. It's filled with grease from the factory, if you ride trials on it from the start it will skip, irreparably damaging the freewheel, and continue to skip. If you bed it in, the grease moves out of the mechanism and the freewheel functions perfectly. If you can't be bothered to bed in/look after your stuff properly then get an SL.
