  1. Yeah, it's a bit of a tricky one - to get more pushbike riders to buy it requires putting more cycle content in, which in turn means more cycle content needs to be produced. We've done our best for the last few mags, but it's a major drain on time which we don't really have to spare. We've had very poor feedback from the advertising (basing it purely on sales, we've got back 0.01% return on investment so far), and nothing from the articles unfortunately. I'm not sure we can sustain such an input to the mag given the benefits we've got back so far, which is a shame.
  2. As if you noticed that - nice work.
  3. Cheers Dave - would appreciate if the code were to remain for those who have purchase the mag. We are trying to ascertain how many customers of the mag are trials riders by tracking orders with the code. We've put a lot of hard work in so far.
  4. Photos of setup? Surely it would be better to fit the 'right' (compatible) parts than wedge a stone in your brake?
  5. You could just wind your TPA off, and move the brake cylinders in a bit..?
  6. Just got press release through, they are 5-10pm. Weird time but kinda makes sense with the name!
  7. Yep, will be good providing it's set up well and not contaminated etc

    Gu Rear Hub

I reckon you may have missed the spacer out between the hub shell and driver bearings. It's very slim but is 100% necessary. Take hub apart to check if it's there or not
  9. Wide, low, flat. About 5 degree up and back.
  10. This. If they are breaking, it means they are at the end of their life. Undertensioned spokes are more likely to break than overtensioned ones.
  11. Yeh I reckon £4000 bike, £2000 frame.
  12. Need to take the pin out of the back of the tensioner, so it sits closer to the chainstay giving more chain wrap. You may need a washer under the head of the hanger bolt in this case, to keep the tensioner locked in place.
  13. Oooh, those ones, sorry, I misunderstood - the earlier ones are pretty damn solid, never heard of one breaking
  14. Ah yes, very old frame then, extremely impressive it's taken that much abuse! Keep an eye on the Zoot where the seatstays join the seat tube...
  15. You're doing it wrong How old is that frame then? Must be well over a year? I have a feeling a Zoot will be added to that list before very long at all...
  16. None at all, 20 or 26.
  17. Yes, but you won't need to, there is plenty of thread
  18. Fitted a set for Jack Carthy, no problems at all with the brake mounts. As with any 4-bolt fork though, never a bad idea to chase them through if you are concerned
  19. Not to worry, your shit was better than the flatland vid unfortunately - too much about the editing, not enough about the riding. Don't think there was actually a whole uninterrupted trick without the angle changing.
  20. Where's that? We certainly haven't had any reports of any breaking, sold quite a few. Usual thing applies for bike parts though: Cheap, light, strong - pick two.
  21. They are discontinued unfortunately. Try some Tioga rims, they are flippin good
