  1. He hasn't made it to MX-5 forums yet, but Cliosport has been infiltrated (and you got called out for aggressive driving in a Combe vid, haha).
  2. Need to move the sprocket further out (measure the chain line from the centreline of the bike - probably gonna be about 47-50mm), also the spoke tensioner ideally needs at least 2 coils, so you will need a spacer between the hub and frame. Makes getting the wheel in a bit of a squeeze but it's worth it
  3. Hub axle (may need a spacer between hub and frame), or make a boss that screws into the dropout.
  4. Less slack = better (leave it as it is )
  5. Well that's an answer Commenting in such a strong way about stuff that you don't understand, or know much about, is generally not a great idea dude. As Mark said, Koxx asked us to sponsor Jack on their behalf, and we were just the middle man to pick up the bill when Jack inevitably broke stuff and Koxx wouldn't replace it under warranty. So Jack had a front hub, couple of rims, a couple of sets of forks (plus quite a lot of time modifying said forks) and 2 frames from us for free (that I can remember - I'm sure there was more), plus a very high level of discount on his original bikes, and healthy discount on all his spares. Retailers aren't in as good a position as manufacturers to offer huge discounts/free stuff, simply because the stuff costs us more. We would hope that if any rider wasn't happy with their sponsorship (note: that doesn't just mean 'discount') they would speak to us about it. Anyway, great result for Jack and cool to see a beasty comp getting some coverage!
  6. Agreed - the views are awesome too. We had a Dacia Sandero instead
  7. Road looks quality - everything like that round here has hedges both sides, booo Looks about right to me, just under 7s to 60? The other cars will probably feel slower because you are a passenger and therefore the car weighs more?
  8. Looks like a nice road
  9. Yep, definitely (providing not knackered, well set up, etc - all the usual clauses!).
  10. Aahhhh, so you have 3 different sets of front springs, not 3 different sets of springs! That seems slightly odd, but I guess it gives you an option to tune the car for under or oversteer (probably want to bin off the stiff ones by the way, Clios are fastest with a bit of oversteer ). Got there in the end, bloody simple Southerners :wink2:
  11. No no no... 4 springs per car x 3 sets of springs = 12 springs. One set of coilovers = 4 springs. One additional set of springs = 4 springs. 4 + 4 = 8 But yep, it will be fun tinkering - they look pretty posh!
  12. Haha, was waiting for that
  13. What coliovers do you have? You'll struggle to get it corner weighted without adjustable spring platforms
  14. Well that's not true, especially not on the public roads. And yours isn't standard, lol. In related news - track day I was meant to be going on on Wednesday has been cancelled
  15. Haha. Check the additional info on any of the snail cams on our site
  16. Actually the least coarse ones are about 0.3mm. The previous Echo TR ones were ~0.1mm. Something with a thread is definitely best.
  17. Awesome - sounds like it's done the trick then
  18. As Robin says. Give all the hoses (mainly the one coming from the bottom of the rad is the main one I think?) a good squeeze and try to 'burp' the air out. A glove is a good idea or you'll get pretty warm hands pretty quickly If you do have a small leak, Radweld should work fine, have used it a couple of times in the past (once in my 106 actually!). K-Seal seems to get slightly better reviews though: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item3a738e427f - used this in my MX-5 and it's held up to a track day and a drift day without any issues so far Don't think it's ideal on newer vehicles though...
  19. Laced up wrong, one side is one hole offset from the other. Best bet is start again unfortunately!
  20. NA ***! Tut, for the win...
  21. Is that on iPhone? Just checked on Android and works perfectly.
  22. As Sam says - it has been considered. We think a better 'route' would be a mobile site, which we'll be starting to work on as soon as the latest upgrades are out of the way.
  23. I just came in here to post exactly that
