  1. In my opinion, no, since you want the brake to work in both directions. When you flip the wheel over, if you use the same technique on both sides, the grind will run both ways.
  2. Forgot how mean your car looked! I think I need one of these one day, they look ace. What mods do you have on it by the way? Oh, and what speeds were you hitting on those straights? Interested to see what a bit more BHP would make the car capable of
  3. Doesn't matter, since when you flip the wheel over you'll grind the 'other' way anyway. As for the original topic - that's normal for V brakes (and a good thing!).
  4. I'd driven 120 miles by 5am Saturday morning just gone Look forward to the results of the shoot
  5. Yeah, that's to make the description 'tard-proof.
  6. Hmm, nope and nope! Probably one of the better hubs to run really.
  7. Good stuff Should be a fairly easy fix then.
  8. Haha, nice work. Always feels weird when you aren't in the drivers seat though, unless you are concentrating on what the car is doing you get thrown around so much and it makes you feel a bit ill...
  9. Cheers man. Haha, same for me! I think I have plenty of room for improvement though, especially Coram - Murrays. Bloody tricky that bit, possibly better in hindsight to sacrifice a bit of cornering speed for a better exit down Senna Straight. Looking forward to the race now, looking at times from last year's meeting I should be competitive
  10. ^^ Sensationalism at it's best right there Still, I agree it's mad to spend so much on the other parts of the car and have safety stuff that's nowhere near the same level. Anyway, video from Snett on Saturday:
  11. Haha, yeah you didn't need any coaxing at all Car looked great though, love those Cupras... Glad you enjoyed it - shame you couldn't stay right til the end. Next time... You will get on well at Snett - you need power for those huge straights! If you do Oulton let me know Lol, it happened I was there too. But I still want to see pics
  12. Yeah I don't think that ball would take the weight, it'll drop down over time. Best bet is two exhaust clamps and bit of steel plate, then get a 1/4" x 24tpi bolt to fix the camera onto that. Will cost a couple of quid maximum.
  13. Awesome - cheers! Not a bad deal like, apparently it's the same for Santa Pod too, the local residents just sneak through a back entrance, haha.
  14. Yes - but you can do it on the day no probs. Will bring my spare lid That would have been absolutely amazing, thank you, but unfortunately I think we are going to have to do it all in a day cos we can't leave the dog alone for too long... Might take you up on that offer towards the end of August when I have a race weekend though, if that would be possible? Get 5 tickets which I would be happy to donate to you so you can go along and watch if you like?
  15. Haha, I thought of you when I posted that Sounds good though - will be in the silver MX-5, so come say hello. Welcome to jump in for a few laps of course!
  16. Definitely staying standard then Anyone at Snetterton this Saturday? Or fancy it? http://apextrackdays.co.uk/
  17. Like I said Nick, happy to take it back if you can't move it on. Even if it's just to do as you did a plonk it on a normal office chair so I can sit in it more Or if I have to buy a car to put it in cos it's so nice
  18. Have seen that GT car at Anglesey before, pretty cool piece of kit
  19. You're right there Happy to do it though!
  20. Nah it's all good - it is a pretty weird thing to have lying around for 7 years... haha.
  21. They are the old old ones, the good ones, from about 2005. Some people might remember them from after this date, which were much harder and not that great. That is a one-off bike by the way, built up to clear some parts we had knocking around.
  22. There's your problem. Get it changed and hope the sprocket isn't knackered too.
