  1. Awesome is an antonym for ruined now, is it?
  2. Yeah, what you have is a weird mix - they keep changing stuff so often it's hard to keep track of! Sorry about that. The description on our receipt was too similar between the two models so that has now been changed. If you want to return that one for an exchange or refund that's no problem, all the details are here: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/pages/terms_and_conditions.html#returns. Obviously the reason the 2012 model now shows as out of stock is that you bought the last one, but since it's still here we could do a swap no problem. PS: We have never and we would never change a customer's order without asking. The two bashrings look completely different anyway, the customer would always notice. One phone call takes a lot less time, effort and money than arranging an exchange, you would be stupid to even try it.
  3. That's what I'm thinking I should have done...
  4. Do you mean it moved, or you set it wonky? If you set it wonky, then it will be wonky. If you set it up straight, then it will be straight... (sorry, couldn't think of a better way to put that!)
  5. Personally would just run without cams.
  6. It's a C20XE, with quite a bit of work... Puts out 228bhp @ 8300rpm (flywheel).
  7. Got 3 cars now :$ Although their total value and running costs is no different to one 'normal' car (Can do all the servicing myself and £400 a year insurance combined). And yeah, it's pretty nippy! Still over 300bhp/ton even with 2 people in.
  8. This thread needs less chat about Jardo buying a shit car, and more stuff about driving!
  9. I've seen riders do it before, it's just not that easy to do and if you mis-align the bearing seats then you're pretty much screwed. EDIT: This was Mark... EDIT 2: This is an Echo bearing on a fairly normal sized BB shell:
  10. Na. Alex - the power steering is removed so I had to decrease the caster for daily use, and I'm crap, hence all the steering input
  11. In that case, bung a bottle of K-Seal in. Takes 5 mins, should help. If not, it'll come back out the system and leave copper all over the area the coolant is leaking from
  12. Certainly must! Not dripping onto manifold etc so it evaporates rather than being visible? Tried K-Seal or anything?
  13. Footwells dry? (Thinking heater matrix leak...)
  14. I reckon they can do everything remotely, but the like to send engineers out so they can pull your pants down for 'installation fees'. Horrible, horrible company.
  15. You can add them to your basket once the Bike Builder has been populated into it Edit: I think I know what you mean - I'll put it on the 'To do' list!
  16. Bummer. I don't know much about it to be honest, just when I disconnected the battery from my Skoda, it was like Blackpool illuminations until I'd driven it! Yeah pre-tensioners and clips etc can come loose - be worth giving them all a check
  17. That sounds feasible - one of the reasons I'm not keen to drive there any time soon
  18. Jesus, nasty Brake failure?
  19. http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showforum=51 http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Cars-/9801/i.html?Transmission=Manual&_sop=2&_dmpt=Automobiles_UK&_nkw=eunos&rt=nc&LH_Auction=1 Make sure you get the Eunos one (Jap import)
  20. You certainly do - in fact you can make money doing it. Buy an old MX-5, as long as it has tax and MOT that's all you need (£4-500 if you find someone who needs to sell quickly). You can make a couple of hundred quid when you sell it on, which will pay for your fuel and 'entry' for the day. Know of someone who has done this twice and made money both times!
  21. And video... (Sorry about the random camera angle half way through! Forgot to shrink the clip, some was filmed in 1080 and some in 720...)
  22. Yeah they wet the track, was sunny all day!
