  1. - Needs more coils - Needs a better shape where it sits against the chain (the other pic shows it)
  2. Two, blue and orange.
  3. Note - that's the Hope axle, not the Skye one. Email replied, by the way...
  4. Productive day of car tinkering! POR15d the underneath of new MX-5, bought some Dinitrol for it, did a full geo setup, also checked it over and seems in good nick. Blue one is now in the warehouse ready to be stripped out and track-er-ised, bought bonnet and boot pins, made a start on brake ducts too...
  5. Chain length is fine. Arm of tensioner needs to be up against the frame.
  6. Yes, you can use the same spokes. Just tape or zip tie the two rims together and swap the spokes across, one at a time

    Yaabaa's

Loved my 1499 too... Good geo.
  8. Sheeeeeett... Hope you're ok? What happened?
  9. Haha. Yeah I guess too much choice can be a bad thing!
  10. I getcha Strange you'd go for orange though, when any of the other colours would make the bike look less 'off the shelf'.
  11. Sweet, nice one - did the orange bits come with the frame or were they extra?
  12. Looks nice! Really getting tempted by a 24" trialsy bike now. Where'd you get the rear rim and forks? Did the frame come with the orange axle washers and crank bolts too? They are a nice touch
  13. 16T on the back are fine; it's a cheap, solid, reliable, high-engagement setup.
  14. That would be ace - nice one! You can take the hairdresser mobile out too, if you can fit in, lol.
  15. Aye, I am definitely willing to be proven wrong though! (Bessell )
  16. How are cars like that to drive (Evos, Imprezas, etc)? I have always imagined them to be very 'efficient' at getting from A to B, but not very engaging or rewarding.
  17. No. But you could make something to do the same job by spacing out the drive ring. Not that it would be recommended. Yep, but nobody seems to do that correctly...!
  18. Haha, I know. I'm not too precious about these things. If it'll get through another MOT then that'll do me. Even if it turns to rust after that, I won't have lost anything if I break it, and will have got 18 months of fun out of it! Or I can drop all the running gear into some sort of MX-5 based kit chassis.
  19. Looks awesome! Cheap, light, simple, 'kick the shit out of them and don't care about it' cars are the best! So I bought another :$ Completely standard Mk1 Eunos Roadster, no rust on the shell, really tidy inside, 60k miles, full MOT, 6 months tax, almost new tyres, loads of history, cheap insurance as it's a classic (less than £200 fully comp)... just waiting for the snow now
  20. I can imagine X-Factor man saying that. Are you sure you don't work in marketing?
  21. Yep, all over my discs!
  22. Cool - try sanding the anodising off the top of the steerer, with an anodised stem and forks it can be pretty slippery.
  23. Steerer hitting against top cap?
  24. It's massive too (not the bit for the competition), about the size of 3 or 4 house bricks... I must have had it stashed away for about 10 years
