  1. Yeah, I get that - I just haven't ever heard that phrase before in my life (did A Level maths and engineering at uni)! I can't even remember having to work out a sum written in such a strange way either. Why not just use brackets? Then it all becomes obvious / common sense. (Obviously that is a rhetorical question.)
  2. Yeah, I've never even heard that term before!? Surely the result of that 'equation' depends on the location / addition / lack of brackets?
  3. To balance the 'debate'... I tried 'streety' riding both brakeless and with brakes, and I'm too shit (and scared of decking it mid-spin) to get the hang of it, so won't be persevering with it

    Magura 2014.

That is pretty scientific though - you can't get any more constant than a chunk of metal, gravity and a known height. Cromo would have bent.
  5. Our work courier. Volume discounts maaaate.
  6. Don't think postage would be more than a tenner...
  7. Give Mark (Westlake) a shout, he was on about swapping the wheels from his old car onto his new one... (Which is the car Luke sold)
  8. All this talk of power - here's something with no power:
  9. When does late night become early morning? Serious question!
  10. Haha! *Books flights to China* Anyway, it's Friday evening and I'm tired. Time to go home!
  11. I just use a sheet of really cheap carbon, cut it with an angle grinder, worked well but was LOUD and started cracking around the rotor bolts.
  12. That's your problem then. You need to take the TPA off and move your cylinder in...
  13. Brad, Ben and I had this discussion around 7 weeks ago. He pledged to prove, in the form of invoices from official suppliers, that all his Echo stock has been obtained through the correct channels. That proof hasn't materialised yet. Until it can be shown that Trials Addict have obtained all of their Echo stock legitimately, we have reason - including information from Echo themselves - to believe otherwise. However, I have held off releasing the warranty site to give Ben and Jack chance to prove themselves, as I believe it unfair to publicly tarnish a new company's reputation with no closure on the matter.
  14. A similar situation happened a while back with FSA components. Their official UK distributor set up a similar website to the echobikewarranty one, and FSA started printing serial numbers on everything so they could keep track of where the grey imports were coming from. Echo fully support their official retailers / distributors (hence the statement they released last June: http://www.echobike.com/news.htm), so you will start to see serial numbers on all Echo parts in the near future. The latest GU and Echo frames already have them. This will allow Echo to figure out which channels grey imported products are following. We set the warranty website up to help customers to keep track of their purchases, and to help Echo with their aim of ensuring all their products are sold through the correct channels. PS: As Mark says, we constantly have a list of changes and updates planned. At the moment that list extends to over 2 year's worth. The Facebook page thing was purely coincidental timing.
  15. Reduce torque on brake clamp bolts.
  16. Ah - I was implying the government sites are all BS Stupid internet...
  17. Do you have any pictures of your setup please?
  18. What are poms? I just keep reading it as porns and getting confused
  19. Had a look at these a while back. Video quality isn't quite up to GoPro standard, but you do get a lot of kit for the price!
  20. Yep, there are three pawls, and no extra bearing supporting the freehub - therefore there are no easy / safe modifications available...
  21. Unfortunately not safely or easily
