  1. That is implied in the price
  2. KoBikes - same as the Onza and Trialtech Race.
  3. If they are the really old Echo hubs, they are M10 x 1.0. Some of the fairly recent ZHI hubs are the same thread, but hard to get spares from memory.
  4. *enter MX-5 preaching here*
  5. I like that excuse nice one!
  6. Same - but they do for me as well I guess they are kind of 'automatic'. You haven't the earning capacity at that age to pay for your own uni course, and it's very rare you'll get funding together to buy a house outright. Definitely agree that cars aren't an investment, they are enjoyment tools and I daren't (is that a word?) calculate a £ / mile or minute cost...
  7. See, Jardo is nice really
  8. I'm one of those people. I don't understand how it could save money overall - the finance companies wouldn't be in business otherwise?! - unless you are heavily involved in investing any spare cash you have and getting a big return, which is greater than the fees for the finance. I also am of the loose opinion that borrowing is what's f**ked the world over (granted there are times when it's necessary and can be 'done properly'), but the amount of greedy credit companies and spackers willing to take them up on their ridiculous offers knowing full well they can't pay them back has made a mess. Oh and governments, how can a country rack up 1.15 trillion pounds of debt? Ridiculous.
  9. Approx 2mm. Any pics of the olive / hose Si?
  10. There's a pretty hidden grub screw in the blade assembly that holds the pivot pin in, I think it's HBSP230 on the PDF...
  11. Go with the Hi Roller (Schwalbe have stopped making those tyres) and get those bars rolled back
  12. I don't think the guy wants to spend £50 on a rotor that doesn't match his front one, and works only fractionally better than one that's half the cost. (Note there are two different versions of the Monty rotor.) If they were readily available I would have the Monty rotors you linked to on my bike, as I do think they work marginally better, but they aren't worth the extra cost IMO. You can't get them direct from Hope because of their agreement with Monty.
  13. You won't get a direct replacement unfortunately - they were rare back in '06/07, now they're impossible to get (believe me, I've been looking for about 3 years!). The Mono Trial is virtually identical, but may have slightly more hold.
  14. That's normal, it's an open system brake. If it returned all the way, your brake wouldn't function. http://blip.tv/play/gpkd4JwkAA http://blip.tv/play/gpkd4OoGAA

It's pretty obvious which way it should have gone in my opinion, the team is always more important than those who make it up, especially in that situation.
  16. That is a rather sensible ideal, quite shocked
  17. Yet another video from me... sorry. This time at Blyton Park. Weather forecast was good but typically it was wrong! 'Timeline': First minute or so: Going sideways 1:12 onwards: Some nearly dry laps, but tyres refused to get any heat in them. 6:05 onwards: Gradually wetter conditions, snow at the end. 12:07 onwards: Chap from MX5 Nutz forum in the passenger seat, I managed to drive through a huge puddle and soak him Sound is crap cos the mic was getting soaked so I had to take it out of the car!
  18. Track day was wet and cold...
  19. Is there any point in doing that? Since I am guessing it runs out of puff about 6.5k anyway, so raising the rev limit isn't going to do much? Or are you planning a lot of other upgrades at the same time? Or am I being retarded?
  20. Yeah, they are one of those 'what if' things... But, you can just tackle it in a logical way and you ALWAYS turn the engine over by hand anyway, so if anything is wrong you'll find out
  21. But your A3 is the fastest and best car in the world, so you don't need 2 cars. It is the exception to the rule!
  22. Cheap runabout + fun car (rather than trying to combine everything into one) = the way forward.
