  1. Nobody will buy stuff that's 'made properly', they say it's too expensive. On a similar note, there's a few brands / products we don't stock to 'protect' customers from themselves. Many people seem to just buy stuff by looking at the brand, the pictures and / or the weight, which is really frustrating for me to see. If anyone wants to know what's a good product then please feel free to ask us for an honest opinion. Many times we've had this and we've actively dissuaded customers from buying a more expensive product because a cheaper one will fit their needs better (or not buying anything at all because what they already have is better for them than what they wanted to buy!).
  2. And this is why most sponsored riders really get on my tits People getting stuff for free to test, shouldn't be selling it on IMO. This.
  3. Unless you're a sponsored rider, you don't... Strangely, Tunni has been testing those and they have been outlasting other 'strong' forks. Not true.
  4. Screw a bolt into the axle, then you can use a hammer rather than a mallet (as you'll be hitting the bolt it won't damage the axle). You just need to hit it harder
  5. If they are brand new, get them swapped. Or just take the grinder to them
  6. Checked the header tank? That's doesn't look too bad if the car doesn't get up to temp for a lot of it's journeys... In which case, Italian tune up required
  7. The bearings aren't standard unfortunately, you need King bearings. Aspire will be cheapest, but we stock them if you are in a hurry.

Weird, ours are solid, even with the Crewkerz pads which are really soft.

Which pads and rear rim are you on Patt?
  10. Haha. He's trying to get the car more balanced at high speed.
  11. Bit too much info, but PICS PLEASE (of the car).
  12. Unfortunately not - the helmet has to be built with the HANS system in mind, else the shell isn't thick enough at that point (and you can't just go drilling random holes in!).
  13. Bummer! Shock is generally better for getting stuff like that loose, shame the grub screws weren't up to it
  14. Oops, yeah, for some reason I read Cupra R, sorry! Remap should give it a bit more poke, maybe 210ish? I'll let George and co take over now
  15. There's more to cars than power! IMO you would be better off with a remap (the K04 remaps well, probably would make a decent 260bhp), then handling mods, geo setup and some decent tyres.
  16. Same, doesn't tend to make much / any mess. Your idea is really good though Alex, I'm tempted to try making something similar as hammering away never feels nice!
  17. Definitely badly mounted (it's quite tricky to set the brake up if the hose is in the crossover clips), and if it was on standard pads they are pretty soft too.
  18. Race Undrilled. Edit: Oops, 24" - Sport Undrilled, I think.
  19. I think the pedals are a bit of a token effort - something to make the bike complete and not add a lot of weight / cost. They assume you'll fit your own preferred pedals I reckon. But yeah, the rest is pretty impressive. The bike is SO stiff when you pedal it forward.
  20. Finally available, and pretty sweet it is too: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_trials_bikes/crewkerz_cleep/c47p12157.html
  21. I would pop down your local shop with your current ones.

Yeah, they were big kerbs, but all the other drivers seemed to identify they shouldn't be ridden, Massa bulldozed over them twice and I LOLed. They were too big for even 'normal' saloon cars. IMO big kerbs like that are a good idea to stop people cutting corners. I guess so - but with Tesco you have to drive over them, on a race track you don't!
