  1. Hi Lee, Yes - we're down to the last 5 spaces now, and these will get filled up in the next couple of days easily, sorry! Cheers, Adam Edit: Make that 3 now...
  2. Good stuff - nothing wrong with that In videos news... Here's a vid from this weekend. It's long, but highlights are at: First few mins - the start and getting mugged by nearly everyone on the first lap! 1:45 - went for a pass around the outside but got squeezed out at the last second 2:00 - slidey slidey, followed by getting passed by Jeremy and Duncan, then we're pretty close for the chicane... 3:05 - made up a load of ground at Church but couldn't get through 5:10 - same again 6:00 - getting close with Jeremy 7:30 - Simon gets it sideways coming out of the chicane, made a pass up the inside 8:05 - snatched 2nd too forcefully and got it pretty sideways 8:30 - made up a lot of ground through Goodwood and Church, made the pass, but c**ked it up! 9:45 - dicing with Jeremy again 11:20 - good run through Seagrave, made the pass as Liam trundles off with head gasket failure 14:20 - chasing Duncan, getting close through Church 15:10 - huge slide, lost a lot of time 16:45 - went for the pass and c**ked it up... 17:40 - starting to rain now, another good run through Church 18:05 - huge train of cars through the chicane 19:10 - more rain and a good run through Goodwood 19:50 - the Rodders train gets ever closer! 20:15 - side by side with Matt 20:55 - good run out of Goodwood to make the pass... just. Then right up behind Amy at Church. 21:35 - tried around the outside but didn't make it stick 21:45 - little bit of slidey action for the crowd on the last lap 2nd vid uploading now too
  3. I spy GoPro - vids please
  4. Awesome - will be great to see you! Unfortunately I don't know the local area very well (we're about 400km North of the venue) but as Sam said, camping is what most people will be doing. I have a couple of tents but they are all already being borrowed, sorry... Worst case you could sleep in one of our gazebos with the sides on? Haha. In other news, trophies are finished
  5. Get an excel calc then you can iterate to your heart's content: http://sheldonbrown.com/rinard/spocalc.htm
  6. Good point Nick, hadn't thought of that! To add some weight... Recently replaced the front pads (huge ones for 4 pot brakes) and discs (weigh about 15kg each and are well over 300mm) on the van and the brakes are considerably better than they were before - all for less than £100. You only need posh pads if you are getting the brakes hot.
  7. Joe isn't responsible for answering questions about Onza on Facebook - if you email Onza then they will most likely reply.
  8. OE pads for the win on a road car.
  9. PSI is Pounds per Square Inch, it's a measurement of pressure rather than flow rate or movement of a volume of air So you could get a million PSI through a tube 1mm in diameter (in fact smaller diameters are better at holding larger pressures).
  10. Can't tell from the photo. Or you could just ride it, it won't die completely that quickly.
  11. Drill that middle bit out completely and make sure your spokes are nice and tight.
  12. Just wrap it in a cloth, be reet
  13. Cheers guys - yeah all (well, we hope so!) the info is on the site. Just over a week to go and we're flat out getting stuff organised now! Here's a full description of all the weekend events on the timetable, plus a few other bits: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/tartydays2013/TartyDaysInfo.doc 'Big name' riders confirmed so far are Dani Conas, Danny MacAskill, Ali C and Tunni. Still got about 60 tickets left if anyone wants to come.
  14. I looked into this, apparently if it's too smooth that causes sealing issues. Haha. Definitely worth doing, yep. It may well be a high volume, low pressure system in that case. We've never seen it not possible with a track pump So it'll be worth a shot.
  15. What pressure does the compressor run to though?
  16. Bleed hose and a track pump should get it out. Our 'record' is 120psi, haha.
  17. You need to get some bolts that go all the way past the bearing, we see so many axles broken because of this.
  18. Onza will probably know -> http://www.onza.com/, bottom of the page.
  19. It looks broken (and stupid)... Because it is! Snapped spring is my guess too, another chap I know has one and apparently it's fairly common.
  20. Yeah man, that was pretty odd... Are they on the way back then? We'll get you sorted out
  21. Forgot how good Kyle was, and how awesome that song is... nice one guys!
  22. Up to fronts are pretty kind to forks relatively though I guess, it's botched hooks that destroy them. As for how often my bike breaks, I found a crack in my 4 year old cranks about a month ago, and I've had a couple of punctures in the last few years, and changed a set of grips, but that's it. As Ali says (and I've said before), selecting the right parts for your riding really helps.
  23. Haha. Dunno what Bropmton are like, but the 4-finger blades we ordered in December haven't arrived yet so I doubt we'll be getting any more!
