Looks almost perfect to me with 18:15. The chain will stretch only a marginal amount, not enough to be a problem.

I think with stuff like this you just have to do it, tell people when it is, and hope they come. Half the people who say they will come won't, and you'll (hopefully) get people who don't even know about Trials-Forum turning up. Sounds harsh but that's the reality... It's an awful lot of work to put on an event like this and do it well, but it is worthwhile.

This. And imagine the loads when you land a dropgap for example. You want as much support for the stem as possible.
