  1. Looks almost perfect to me with 18:15. The chain will stretch only a marginal amount, not enough to be a problem.
  2. Not any more, I finished at uni a few years ago.
  3. Bit of a bump, but, after some detective work this is what I've been able to come up with... http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/hub_spares/hope_pro_2_trials_axle/c22p10778.html Only time will tell if it's right. We'll probably get what we think is HUB236 in a packed labelled HUB218 next time we order from Hope, to screw stuff up again
  4. Usually fold, then fold again, then scrunch to eek the last available surface area out of the paper. Scrunchers are such a waste, they are about 95% culpable for the Amazonian deforestation, I'm sure of it.
  5. Nope. Next question? My underpants are black today, if that helps to preepmt
  6. Seriously. They told us they were considering making one, we said 'yep, get on it, we'll have 50' - then nothing.
  7. Lol. Yeah lets see if the 50 we ordered in about 2009 turn up...
  8. I think with stuff like this you just have to do it, tell people when it is, and hope they come. Half the people who say they will come won't, and you'll (hopefully) get people who don't even know about Trials-Forum turning up. Sounds harsh but that's the reality... It's an awful lot of work to put on an event like this and do it well, but it is worthwhile.
  9. They were an attempt to prevent the bearing 'walking' out of the freewheel and it coming completely apart.
  10. For me and thee - yes - for someone buying a complete bike on a budget, they just look at the spec and price rather than the future!
  11. Yeah, it was the top end bike though, thick end of 2 grand.
  12. Don't discount the BB5, works the same as the 7 just with less adjustment.
  13. Had 4 prototypes from Rockman, they all skipped but it appears they've been released anyway... Inner and outer bearing races welded to the centre and outer teeth too, meaning you can't get it apart... The mind boggles.
  14. Wow, can't believe it's that long ago! Ian still has it, we put some new bits on about 6 months ago if memory serves.
  15. He is - but that rear tyre's a proto with pretty damn soft compound.
  16. I guess that's everyone's point - you could just have a cable throttle and you wouldn't have to 'get used to' something that's 'not too bad'
  17. Agreed that 'fake' throttles make cars feel weird...
  18. Trying a new angle to market this thing now then... I can't see how it'd take off unfortunately, seeing as it looks incredibly clunky.
  19. This. And imagine the loads when you land a dropgap for example. You want as much support for the stem as possible.
  20. Give the seller a shout, see what comes of it.
