  1. Yeah, and £15 for parking... this is why I hate London Wicked, cheers for the extra info! Car it is methinks.
  2. Ah, sweet, that's great info, cheers gents. So car should be ok providing I steer clear of the centre... Guessing it's the same deal for getting away, make sure I'm clear of the M25 by about 4ish?
  3. I think you mean Joen't break mahert ma-acheybreakey-hert...
  4. Google Maps for the win...! https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=northampton+train+station&daddr=51.514004,0.007682&hl=en&ll=51.522202,-0.058022&spn=0.178159,0.308647&sll=51.513871,0.01148&sspn=0.011137,0.01929&geocode=FcoUHQMdcSry_ykJq_pH5A53SDGPqKC5EXz4MA%3B&dirflg=r&ttype=dep&date=14%2F02%2F14&time=08:00&noexp=0&noal=0&sort=def&mra=dme&mrsp=1&sz=16&t=m&z=12&start=0
  5. Looks like I'll be going to the London Cycle show at Excel next Friday. Now, I f**king hate London and quite frankly travelling around it scares me. What's gonna be the best way to get to Excel for ~10:30-11am? I guess I can rule out a car... I should be able to stay over in Northampton on Thursday evening, wondering if it's worth just getting the train straight from there? Looks like Canning Town is the closest but I don't know where I'd need to go into to make the change... Any help / info appreciated! Cheers.
  6. I've seen it tried with no success - however, I reckon the Echo style grub screw would work, but don't think snail cams will.
  7. TartyBikes are pleased to announce that we have taken over the import and distribution of Monty bikes and accessories from Malcolm Rathmell Sport, following their decision to focus attention on their motorbike brands. A huge thanks to Martin & co for their support so far and faith in us to look after the brand they have been involved with as a family for almost 30 years. We have acquired all their stock and will be adding it to the website as soon as possible, although with a huge range of products stretching right back to the 90s this make take some time!
  8. That explains why Top Gear has gone shit then Would like to find viewing figures for 5th Gear, appears Top gear got just over 6m yesterday - I bet it will be less this coming weekend!
  9. Really? That sucks. I'd have thought there would be more than enough motoring enthusiasts in this country for them to stop wasting our license fees on destroying fake supermarkets and blowing things up with clearly branded tanks and do a proper car show. There's already enough trying-too-hard-to-be-funny entertainment shows.
  10. Rotor thickness makes no difference as the brake is an open system and will auto adjust to the same amount of lever throw every time (providing no air). Over filling the system can make a short term difference but in the end it will make fluid weep past the diaphragm seal, and you're back to how it was.
  11. Agreed! Hot hatch test was promising, then it just went stupid as normal, all the jokes so obvious and set up, and not funny An actual test of old vs new hot hatches would have been so good!
  12. ^^ Looks like the only good use for airbags That bed looks a bit suspect though.
  13. Brentacre. They actually once told me that more modifications would bring my policy down - the way they see it, is that PROPER car enthusiasts are less likely to crash and will take better care of their car than someone who just uses it as a mode of transport. Love it.
  14. Pro2, definitely, if it's within budget.
  15. You'll be somewhere around 226 for radial in that case, would definitely be worth doing a calculation 'from scratch' to confirm before ordering anything!
  16. They should take about 50Nm, which will produce over 2 tons of clamping force each. I'd go for 40, that will be plenty!
  17. They look like Hayes to me...

Erm, can't make my mind up about the sound. Not as bad as I expected though. I think you'd have to experience it in person to say for sure. The 'old' V8 2.4L engines sounded awesome on full chat though, and the bangs on gear change, oh my...

Anyone else loving the Renault engine failures? Even though RBR will claw it back, it might mean a close( r) end to season if they start badly...
  20. That makes sense. Feeling like she's controlling you is not good though - hopefully it'll turn around as you said
