  1. They're not, but they will last at least a year
  2. Local motor factor or EuroCarParts / CarParts4Less, cheapest one you can find that's the right size. Just pop your reg in.
  3. Racing at Oulton yesterday, back on form with a 2nd and a 3rd (which should have been a 2nd - not forceful enough in defence on the last lap!). 1st place was again taken by someone who has at least 10bhp over the limit, really really hoping the dyno is at the next round at Snetterton... PS: The Island circuit at Oulton sucks balls compared to the full one.
  4. Oi, I had a saloon Octavia vRS :-P was a cracking car that. Had very useful load the space, from memory the estate floor is raised in the back so you have just as much room in the hatchback (and a better looking car).
  5. Not if it's an open bearing headset though...
  6. Nah, they are a completely different frame. Can't think of a single item they will share. http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/f9/echo-urban-build-up-13963/ That frame is still going strong btw Mark!
  7. Entries now open: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/events/tartybikes_open_trial/c566p12676.html
  8. Guessing you were doing 'ready to park' speed as well?
  9. Yeah, you need to go though the right channels unfortunately... Just tell them not to do any chargeable work without contacting you first! Hmm, I expected it to be shorter than 50h from what you said earlier in the thread. I'd be expecting to service my forks, shocks and similar components every 20 rides for sure...
  10. I'd be pursuing warranty. Within the first 6 months of ownership it's for the retailer to prove the product wasn't faulty at the time of sale. After 6 months the burden of proof transfers to the owner, and then you have to prove that it was faulty at the time of purchase (you'd have to appoint a mutually agreed 3rd party specialist to do this, ie. it's not worth it). They may try and sting you with the service interval bollocks but I think that's a bit rude...
  11. I've only ever used aluminium ones, but yeah I think a lot are plastic.
  12. I love physics and theory, but I've done many track days in my MX-5 with massively oversized wheel bores, no spigot rings and no issues...
  13. Wait until it rains, go and drive car = wheels are cleaner than when you started
  14. Ah yes, pretty common for them to go on those Clios. Check the dogbone from the box to the chassis too, mine had slipped complete off!
  15. You'll just have to be a Motorbike Cuntâ„¢ and weave through the traffic!
  16. I too was waiting for something horrible to happen in the video, that was fine dude
  17. Can you disable anything ignition / fuelling related, then turn it over on the starter to prime the oil pump / system? Or does the turbo not receive an oil feed until the ECU requests it to boost?
  18. Good stuff - thought it sounded like there was a blockage.
  19. Will fluid drain through if you use gravity, like I suggested?
  20. Bugger Have a look on eBay, then it'll be about half that price from a forum, haha.
