  1. Entries now open: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/events/tartybikes_open_trial/c566p12676.html
  2. Guessing you were doing 'ready to park' speed as well?
  3. Yeah, you need to go though the right channels unfortunately... Just tell them not to do any chargeable work without contacting you first! Hmm, I expected it to be shorter than 50h from what you said earlier in the thread. I'd be expecting to service my forks, shocks and similar components every 20 rides for sure...
  4. I'd be pursuing warranty. Within the first 6 months of ownership it's for the retailer to prove the product wasn't faulty at the time of sale. After 6 months the burden of proof transfers to the owner, and then you have to prove that it was faulty at the time of purchase (you'd have to appoint a mutually agreed 3rd party specialist to do this, ie. it's not worth it). They may try and sting you with the service interval bollocks but I think that's a bit rude...
  5. I've only ever used aluminium ones, but yeah I think a lot are plastic.
  6. I love physics and theory, but I've done many track days in my MX-5 with massively oversized wheel bores, no spigot rings and no issues...
  7. Wait until it rains, go and drive car = wheels are cleaner than when you started
  8. Ah yes, pretty common for them to go on those Clios. Check the dogbone from the box to the chassis too, mine had slipped complete off!
  9. You'll just have to be a Motorbike Cuntâ„¢ and weave through the traffic!
  10. I too was waiting for something horrible to happen in the video, that was fine dude
  11. Can you disable anything ignition / fuelling related, then turn it over on the starter to prime the oil pump / system? Or does the turbo not receive an oil feed until the ECU requests it to boost?
  12. Good stuff - thought it sounded like there was a blockage.
  13. Will fluid drain through if you use gravity, like I suggested?
  14. Bugger Have a look on eBay, then it'll be about half that price from a forum, haha.
  15. Fair shout. My guess is on too much cleaning product Out of interest, which Mintex did you get on with?
  16. What Alex said. Bedded the pads in properly Jardo? I have had the discs glowing red on Stan's Clio with DS2500s fitted and they worked spot on, also work perfectly well from cold and everywhere in between. Warped discs is a myth, it's pad pickup, which makes itself worse by grabbing harder at (the slightly wider) same point each time the disc goes round. Sand the discs down or get them skimmed, then bed pads back in with hard braking.
  17. Still plenty in a car that light, yeah. Power to weight for the win
  18. Good stuff - which engine?
  19. Last weekend's failings...
  20. I spend about 6 hours a day replying to emails, and have replied to a couple of emails about finance in the last few days - what email address did it come from? Either way, we don't offer it, sorry. Can't believe they are knocking them out at 15% off, ridiculous.
