I got a new job up in Denbighshire in north wales - starting in september. Any riders from around there, hows the trials? And also I'd imagine it'll be pretty quiet in that part of the country. Thinking of living in Chester and commuting in to work - anyone know of any good places to live around there with a bit of life? Cheers

You can get a system ex 90mmX35 degree stem on ebay in either OS or normal clamp - only £19 too

I usually use an adjustable spanner and just bend it slightly in the direction it needs to go. Clean the spanner before you use it so you don't get oil etc. on the rotor

Ordered one of those, cheers Shame its after I put the big ass dent in my frame . How much do dents usually weaken frames? I'll post a pic so you can see the size, if anyone can help? I've heard fourplay frames have quite chunky downtubes so might hold in there longer than most?

Does anyone still use a downtube protector? I dented my pristine inspired frame a few days ago and thinking of getting one. I used to have an armourdillo which worked well, but pretty ugly. Does anyone know of any good ones out at the mo, or how to make a decent one?

I use a grind on my 26" trials bike with heatsink pads, awesome brake, but really loud. Got some atomz pads on a smooth rim on my 24" as i want a quiet brake with modulation, its not too bad, and I use a bit of tar when I need a better brake, its really good, just doesnt work in the wet, and you only need a tiny bit.

Theres not a lot to ride. Theres a couple of spots at a school near the town centre, another with a good rail gap near the church, and a few others here and there. I started trials there years ago (Ben got me into it) so i'm completely bored of all the spots and usually head to oxford / reading / bristol, but you should check it out for a day if you're only in newbury
