  1. Aspirevelotech on Ebay. Try bidding on them at first, you might get it for less than £70.. But, I do believe its possible to buy it for £70 new directly like a 'Buy Now' off Aspire... But Joe Elding will know exactly what to do. Good on you for getting a frame that's actually long enough for you! Meh, a new era of JT starts...

Anyone care to give their first impressions so far?

Something happened at work Ben, thats making you so bitchy? I just posted it up merely because other people may want to see... I don't like that colour personally and nor is there a unicycle hub version available in any colour but black or silver Ben.

Seen loads and loads of Tangerine ones on BMXs, but I think this colour is special to AlansBMX.

Can I just ask, but do these new 'Echo' tyres even have an Echo logo anywhere on them at all? Otherwise they just look like a Luna tyre, or a Black sticky finger tyre. Hmm, probs will order one then.. I just hope they aren't re-colored sticky fingers seeing as their 'bike trial 20x2.5' logo is exactly the same font.
  6. I think I'll come to this too... mr. champion is coming too...
  7. In that vid, at around 2.25 minutes or so, what rocks are they? I mean, where abouts are they? I'd like to ride theer soon.
  8. I assume you've managed to build up that old T-Pro successfully then? But, I'm afraid I can't come, Physics exam on saturday!
  9. Not sure about the UniVerse 1 and 2 trailers, nor the Defect DVD trailer. But all 3 are amazing unicycle trials/street/mountain videos by Dan Heaton. I have all 3, and might be able to copy them onto another CD or upload some best pieces onto tv.isg. thingy. You must see the Zack Baldwin trials section on Defect in any case. huuggee sidehop. Oh and Rich, there are some vids on www.koxx-one.com, look especially for the Yoggi videos, because those are pure trials. The Xav Collos vids are too streety/trick-based.
  10. Fook me, just reminded me of Liam Munn's riding, dammnn aggressive! his sidehops somewhat reminded me strongly of Carles Diaz' sidehops for some reason and I agree with Joe elding that maybe we could have a file where we can see all the pics. Would be awesome.
  11. I really really enjoyed that ride. Met loads of new faces, talked to people and found out they were a lot nicer than I thought by just looking at them lol. Riding there was great, I loved Lee's pringled front wheel and some of the stacks looked scary like Kyle Hinchcliffe's tap-to-bikeflip Got some lines done myself at last and finally met Mark lol . However I missed out on buying a bunny shirt, and getting one or two bunny stickers for my bike and unicycle I really appreciate what DJ's parents did for us, it was an awesome event regardless of the blazing sun. Hope I can still come to next year's ride (GCSE exam revision in the way!). Thanks so much to DJ's parents for organising this

    Wright Pads

Seems its quite a topic, never knew about all this Pete Wright history etc. . Got asked by someone to put it up, seeing as he edited it, with me thinking it was a harmless thing. Only later to be told by that someone (if you want to own up! ) that he just realised it could be bad because it digs into Pete's reputation a bit. I don't even know Pete, nor know much about him apart from the rumours I've heard recently which are quite silly. Best close the topic if people are getting offended.

    Wright Pads

Meh, not my problem if he gets upset about this, I didn't edit this picture plus it was someone else who sent it to me and asked me to put it up lol.

    Wright Pads

Here it is, got sent it by "someone", who prefers to remain anonymous, thought others would like to see.. (what the f**k am I doing up this late)
  15. Seeing as I ride mod, I like every high BB stock I've been on for that simple fact of feeling like a mod. But I can definitely see that it'll get so boring once the novelty wears off. They just don't seem to have that leverage for gapping that normal stocks do. They seem to loop out backwards easier too, and simply standing on the pedals feels awkward as your so high up and I don't think I'd like to bail or dab on one of them myself seeing as I'm not the biggest person in the world First impressions are that I like them, but I guess if I get used to it I'd get tired of it and get so annoyed at its lack of leverage for moves. Just get an 05 pitbull or a control I see too many people buy high BB stocks and sell them soon after, it can't mean a good thing.
  16. I haven't had a set on my bike, but I have a few friends who use them on grinds. For example, on Dan Ko's bike a bit back, the Echo pads didn't seem to grip very well onto a grind compared to pads like Zoo. It's a harder compound and talking about its loudness means nothing, when I've tried these pads, they were always worse than Zoo pads and I could notice that they weren't nearly as grippy.

    Chav Scum!

I've had similar experiences where they threw a coke bottle at me and my bike, covering most of my new hoody in sticky crappy cola gunk. Not a happy bunny at all, but there were a group of 5 of them around 14 or 15, couldnt risk them stealing my bike. However, if my bike were not there, the result would probably be me being put into a mental asylum for certain reasons Sorry this sounds rather psychotic, but they really really do get on my nerves a lot, plus I needed to release some steam
  18. Just wondering but, is the garden very close to the football ground where we are riding? I'm most likely being an idiot again but aside from it being a place in memory of DJ, is it like a big place where everyone'll gather first and talk etc. before heading into the Abingdon football ground to ride the pallets? hope the weathers good!

    Bmx Questions

Been talking to Mark about this on MSN, but thought some of you guys might know a little more! Cheers for help though Mark Here we go: Basically, got a profile crank, and it kinda 'wobbles' a tiny tiny bit after loads of jumping, the crankarm slides onto the 48-spline Profile spindle quite easily by hand. Mark recommended me using loctite on the crankbolt, but I also heard off him that there exists some crankbolt that BMXers use to eliminate 'Profile wobble' something called a bitch-bolt maybe? Would appreciate any help.
  20. The one GU mod I ever liked. I can see how big a difference the high BB and high stem made, cos it was a shit load easier to manual and hoon than my short Python. Nice pictures
  21. Having ridden both for quite long periods in short-term bike swaps, I'd definitely have to say I prefer the GU. Both had same Zoo bar and high Echo stem combos, so its a fair comparison. The GU was a bit easier to manual/bunnyhop (something which I strangely find difficult on my short Python), and the Pitbull seemed a bit better for gapping. But I liked the GU more still, both were long.
  22. Hopefully will come. I've never been to a big ride apart from London
  23. my speciality... depending on what discipline you ride..erm.. well, lets assume you do uni trials, or mountain or street... Kris Holm Fusion is the best... as its strapped nicely and has a good design other saddles, such as my Koxx One saddle, is stapled onto the base, so its not as strong as the KH fusion seat which has laces to tie the cover down . Kh fusion £28, go for it.
