I loved that ride, best London ride for a while. So much crazy shit: 1. Dan Ko and his black-man-ness: 'Check this shit' about 50 times during the ride 2. Convincing Joe Elding to do St.Pauls, which he eventually did twice, goood! 3. Fred Grillet= the real life Hulk. 4. Joe Hodges with his 7 St.Pauls gaps, which he landed all but due to his uni, he couldnt roll out or keep the landing properly. Eventually he twisted his spindle! 5. (coughs) dropgaps and gaps to metal posts and onwards... pretty mental, it was quite surprising. 6. Andrew Chai and Dan Ko are like a married couple 7. Everyone trying to ride a unicycle, haha, good effort Dan and Joe... Chai and Tom were *great* Overall, good day for me too, got a bit tired and bored of the SAME ONE person commenting like: "Hurhhhh, mate get a trials bike for that and do it to tyre." approximate count: 15 times during the ride. Answer to that: "I have a mod at home.. my wrist is too bad to ride bike right now". Silly boy. Congratulations to those who took part in the Tour de London... Simpson, and others... YOU REALL MISSED OUT!

Certainly coming. Also, joe hodges would like to sell a Monty 2.7 and Tryall 19" black 36H rim for £15 each, brand new in London... ANyone want them?
-
Glad to see others like it too! I got it off Ebay for £18 total, and it was brand new . The only way to get it normally is to buy a full Magura Louise Green disbrake set etc.. and you get the bag with it.
-
Ben, isn't it about time you got a new bike!

Pictures of my 06 tryall rim in 'Bike pics' under topic: Yao Zhi Python, Koxx Devil... etc.

I swear you get a new frame every month Will , I remember the old T-pro, then T-lite long, Toxsin mod, Pure, others, and now this! Hmm, anyone wanna make bets on what Will gets next month! Fiver says its a Triton

It's good, but she's using a fixed drivetrain bike, very similar to what Unicycles ride like. Wheelies and stuff are SOO much easier on a fixed drivetrain bike, rather than our normal freewheeling ones. And those 1 footed fakies are not too hard with a fixed drivetrain, its copied off unicycle flatland! I'd be far more impressed if she did it on a freewheeling bike.

Biff mate, don't be such a tool! Buy a Kris Holm 19" rim ... £22 from unicycle.com or, if that's outta stock, buy it from the Germans: Municycle.com (VERY RELIABLE, even though its based outside UK! cheap deliv.) KH rim is 42mm wide, not far off a Hog rim, and is far stronger and is specially made to take sideways impacts meaning wonky gaps etc. won't end up in sidewall dents! Also the rumours about the sidewalls on a KH being wank for a grind is so untrue, as the KH rim is made of 7005 aluminium almost like DX32's 7075, whilst the Koxx/Onza rims are 6061! Plus the KH rim is lighter than even the Tryall rim, so ideal basically... To give you an idea of its strength: a quote from a unicycle site: "Many riders have broken several DX32s in one season whilst their Kris Holm 19" Freeride rims have lasted for several seasons to this day". Sounds ideal...

Video slightly delayed, almost definitely up tomorrow. It's a scene cut out by me from the Defect DVD, meaning good filming, good editing, and good music. So it's not just a sloppy amateur job like some of the vids I've experimented with trying to edit! These pictures pretty much sum up what kind of riding is in the vid. Muchooos smooth and big! Oh and Joe, I'll find out tomorrow when the Koxx One stuff comes back in stock, it's been too long a wait!

I used to love that frame. and that bar and stem. All those months back

wooop woop woop woop woop. I am coming. New koxx isis wheel and magura green hydro bag have to both be with me by then though! last London ride before I go to the Far East.

If I rode stock, that would probably be the frame I'd most wanna get. Also can use a low profile bmx seat with QR clamp if I fancy doing other stuff like BMX stuff or XC. Meh, i think these older Pures are better than the newer Pures, the old ones are Ultra 6, and new ones are 6061. Plus the old ones have their token seat

The green looks different, but to be honest the orange just looks as if it were taken in different shading conditions. -
Within the Surrey kinda area, does anyone know any rocky places? I already know of: Battersea Park, Reading University, and Hook Woods. Anymore anywhere? Joe? Adrian?

I like that bike, all except the green cranks . Sorry, but I'm just not a fan at all of colored cranks, they just look overdone. I think that black or silver cranks with a green bashring would look much nicer. Aside that, it looks sweeeet as. I envy you for your rear tyre I don't like the new ones!

Sorry to go a bit off topic, but isn't this a bit like some soap opera, that everyone wants to watch? About 10 different people are all reading the same topic! Oh the drama..

Mr. Topic starter, from what I've read, what Matt's done isn't really that bad, I mean, assuming what Matt says is true, it was fair enough that he complained about the helmet because it was too small, I'm sure 99% of people on this forum would if a helmet that was said to be large was infact too small. I'm not having a dig at anyone, but just don't think it should be as problematic as this. Matt hasn't really scammed or done anything particularly unreasonable for a while now, I can understand why Matt's a bit upset, because its kinda digging up his past a bit, even though you may not mean it. anyway, hope this can get sorted soon.
