Opposite ends of the country, I'm afraid
-
I haven't met him, no. But I can talk to him on the phone, or even Yao Zhi for that matter. As one of the shopkeepers was willing enough to let me have a small chat with their friends Deng and Yao. But I see no point, Deng's just gonna send over some anthrax to my place if I be honest about certain products of his.

Some are pretty decent, considering the short amount of time some have been riding. 2 of the riders I've been hanging out with have around 48" sidehops/taps. I can certainly notice that they aren't as dropgap-happy as most of the UK riders!! However, they were very keen on what trials is like in england in terms of: 1. General standard and riding style 2. What parts are popular 3. Prices in UK (they felt lucky afterwards) 4. Craig and Neil.

This should explain everything: That's just the way it is Gaz, sorry!
-
My bad guys! The Pumas are more likely to be around size 11 I think, I'm a fool when it comes to shoe sizes :$ Thanks for not being 'one of them', Jake and Joe, I turn green all the time. rarrrghh
-
Isn't size 8 tiny? Most of the people in my year have size 10-13 feet. And we're in the middle of our GCSE course. I don't think I can get another pair that small, sorry.
-
Well, you know what they say about big feet Nevermind that, erm it is just 45 chinese size, its not a perfect fit on me, still a centimetre or two space in the front end when I squish my feet inside. But I find it ok, as I can grow into it a bit more maybe... The silver set pictured can be for sale, around the £25 price mark. I can get more pictures of certain areas if you request them. I'm using the red pair. For those of you craving Zoo pads, or a Zhi shirt... I am most likely going to be holding some sort of a little TF game soon, so 2 of you can win something. Depends how many are left over. EDIT: terror-error, I think that the Pumas are likely to be maybe size 13 UK, dunno exactly, but thats a rough guess. It's a wee bit bigger than some of my other shoes

No, those Control forks have disc mounts too . I think I should really make it clear that I only get stuff specially for certain people I know well. Unless I specifically say that something is up for sale. I get too much of this: From : Jamie Paxman <jamiepaxman@hotmail.com> Sent : 22 July 2006 15:09:11 To : pissoffthepublic@hotmail.com Subject : echo lite forks, zoo bars | | | Inbox hellow sorry to be another one of your annoying persons to ask you if you could get me something.but i am struggling with money to buy product and wondering if you could try and get me some echo lite forks and black zoo bars.if you could that would be great. i know i dont know personaly im sorry about that and i know you are getting loads of people just like me asking for stuff.if you could that would be great thanks alot jamie. Seriously guys, don't assume that I've got a truck with me, I can't bring all of Deng's factory with me

No one wants Echo rims or forged cranks over in China, and a few of them are rather aggressive at riding. Zhi seems to be really popular as the riders say its better than Echo in most cases, such as long-life-ed-ness plus Zhi cranks are more similar to the older Echo silver cranks, except this time, Zhi threads dont strip like blades of grass

Ignore moi.

Spot of bad news: shop phoned me a few mins earlier (now its like 10 o clock morning) saying that the factory decided to send them 12 pairs of red Echo brake pads instead Sorry to those of you who wanted Zoo pads... I'm unsure whether or not I can get them in time, as it takes a good while for them to come in... I'll try and get em ordered today. No promises it'll come though to Simpson: all decent stems (ie Echo ones) are entirely outta stock in shops, only some pirated-Taiwan ones in stock now, probably with crap geo or weak manufacturing. And I already got the last Control fork for someone else, who asked me earlier than you did. sorry! to terror-error and others: the Puma silver trainers are Chinese size 45, so just convert into UK size. Its got one velcro strap for each shoe, and is a relatively thin-soled shoe compared to BMX and skate shoes. It's light and grippy on pedals I find. It slightly resembled other trials shoes, so I thought I might as well give my red pair some trashing. I bought them for around £10-£15, not sure, gotta ask my mum. If anyone's still after that silver pair reply in this topic, and just state a decent price (I'll keep it low, but I want a bit of profit at least!). This pair probably costs at least £40 in England... Dam, got about 6 PMs to read, and about 5 people added me on MSN during my sleep.

Hurray, the JT post! Putting it in the luggage suitcases and shit are all fine... the smaller bits can go in my rucksack easy. I've done it before a few years ago with a kiddy BMX taken apart, no problems at all so long as its in a suitcase with clothing. Plus I'm only bringing one frame back, for myself, all the rest is small-ish.

Forgot to say, to those of you still interested... They have Echo Pure 04 frames here .. One of them got sold yesterday evening, could have taken a pic! Funnily enough, the 04 Pures are still pricier than 06 Pures... due to metal I think, I doubt in China that they care about novelty of models, more about material i guess.. Maxxis, Koxx, CK, Profile, Tryall, White Industries, and Onza are pricey here... hardly any profit for the shopkeepers.
-
One lucky person called Chris Antoniou is getting those Control forks, Zhi bars, and booster.. for his new Limey/King/Tensile combo off ebay.. Oh and Tim, I've got your front creepy here now
-
I rode someone's Zhi... it sits on the backwheel nicer than my short Python does. I couldn't tell much else about it, as it was a short go... I feel like holding a little game on TF, with maybe a Zhi green stickerset and a black Zhi shirt up for grabs... Something like what JT did on april fools day for his Tlite. Possibly
-
If that's what you really want, Mark... coming up. Confirm with a PM if your serious

Biff, and Joe, To get everything clear, these are the prices: Echo Lite frame £50, Echo forged cranks £10, 4 pack of zoo pads £6. All the other higher end Ultra 6 frames are around £100. Headsets and BBs £15-£20... Plus a shit load of Aorta and Zhi stuff here too... I can get pics of the Zhi Riser bar tomorrow if you like. And the Zhi ZM1 frame , Zhi cranks, and a FULL new Echo Pure 2004/2005 with mini seat! Shame there's no room in my luggage for big stuff... I've got a family friend coming over to England and China alot every year, so he can bring stuff back with him, if absolutely necessary. Some lucky lucky people (especially Mr.Igotalimeydealoffebay) have already got stuff coming to them for cheap However, in China, I can't find the new Adamant, GU, and Czar cranks, boosters, bars, or hubs. They arent in stock yet in the shops I visit. Meh, Zhi rims ***. Pictures up tomorrow if anyone likes... Time for bed. It's late here
-
Shit zee bed, that is a high front end, by the looks of it! It looks so much cleaner with an Echo fork, that old Onza unicycle frame wasn't doing any favours on the front end in terms of looks . I have still yet to talk to you in person in London... Really cool bike there, bet it rides well. I can somehow imagine that this bike manuals effortlessly... Nice one!
-
Oh another one of "them" It's ok I suppose, bit of a cheesy name for it, but you ride well on it
-
Shit the bed... sidehops were cool. What time is it in England, anyone?
-
Now, I've been emailed the photos by Julien, I can see what you mean Joe. My expression and body looks as if I've put in a hell of effort . I think its just a natural thing, I don't really even tuck at all so there's still more height to be had. But I'm not quite there yet Just try the stupid face expressions and spastic body positions, and try gasping and taking a deep breath just before a hop. Kinda works for me
-
People are being too negative about this... The riding itself is fine, i thought the vid was pretty cool, and editing might not have been DVD-worthy but good enough to get an A grade for an internet video, IMO. It's a decent crack at Adobe Joe, better than I can do on Premiere. Anyway, good riding in the video and thats the only thing that I realy judge in a video. Couldn't give a monkey's about music or editing to be honest...
-
Can't see the pics, they are IPMB or something... 10" wall Joe? ... i'll have to see what you mean by that... because thats fairly tiny, even for me EDIT: Now I understand why this post was at 4am... Its like an oven here in china right now. I need Deng's or Echo's phone number!
