A good, and entertaining commentator can be important, as he can give the crowd a better idea of what's going on. Such as "This is what's known as a front tap, it's an extremely powerful technique" when a demo rider is rocketing up something. As well as being able to provide some info on some of the riders to keep the crowd busy when the riders take a tiny break or something. Definitely worth having a good commentator or else more pressure will be put on the riders to keep the show going. Hype it up and stuff to make it a good demo, like for a sidehop bar, do a small competition with the riders. With the biggest hoppers last, and the commentator saying to the crowd "can he make it?" to just get the crowd going a bit more.. Just a few ideas, but might be useful if you want a successful demo

Lovely bike , good to see people still do silver and black bikes. Salute to JT as well for that... over-coloured stuff makes me ill, especially coloured cranks

Ooo, Mr T Rodriguez'll like this It looks just like last year's Ti, except its got a normal headtube and the join is slightly different at the toptube/downtube/headtube region. Meh, at least some of you can run King headsets now.

Forget the GU and Python, go get this: Nah, honestly, I think you should go for the GU, as it can be long, and at the same time nice for popping manuals and spins as it's so much more flickable than the Python. I guess it all depends on your riding style and the kind of stuff you like doing.

Some of Deng's oldest models, such as the ES and EM series had disc mounts such as this one:

yep i do unicycle trials as well, it's hard to do big stuff compared to bikes, but it's still fun. Parts break quite a lot and the wheel tends to buckle extremely easily from impacts. It's harder than you think. I normally go riding with Joe Hodges (unstablebutable on the forum) and as Joe_Elding above said, he's British Champion (Yoggi doesn't count because he's not British) and now World no.2 beating all the Koxx riders including Yoggi There's a small video of me and joe made by Trashzen, just search in the videos section and you'll find it. The majorly large downside to unicycle trials is that it'll make your biketrials riding go downhill, as it is a distraction. It certainly had a bad effect on me! :$

Is that a fixed or freehub on the rear there? Cool bike, I like the rims especially

Now I'm waiting for a review on the Profile bartenders

Ah, but you see, I didn't say I won't ride with any Deng products did I . Yeah I'd rather have something like a Leeson, but that doesn't mean I despise using CNC'd aluminium Pulo stuff . I'm on the cheap, so Deng stuff it is (for now).

I have a feeling that more companies will start to produce hydraulic rim brakes in order to compete with Magura. Whether it be a rebranded CNC'd thing from Deng, or a totally new design from someone like Hope. Frame and fork-wise we could see them have special suspension systems with the perfect amount of travel and spring to aid riding. Sounds seriously dumb at first, but seriously, in a few years I think we will almost certainly see a prototype hanging around. . And I agree with those who say we should head more into a BMXy direction, by having rider owned companies who know what they're doing and actually make new components. Most the 'new' stuff out now is just all rebranded and er-laser etched shit, as well as all the stupid colours to satisfy the kids. The sad thing about most trials brands is that they seem to be in it for the money, and don't care that much about their components so long as they last at least a year and look good. Leeson and IOLO seem to doing good for trials, seeing as they make frames to last and also offer repairs. I'd far rather a custom-built high quality steel frame like a Leeson any day of the year, over a rebranded CNC'd mess from the Pulo factory. And yeah, more companies should start heading in a MTB direction by making hand-made frames like the Banshee freeride/dh frames in Canada. Having a proper website for a brand would help too, seeing as all trials brand's manufacturers websites look tacky as poo compared to most BMX and MTB sites. compare: www.echobike.com to www.norco.com The quality of trials components isn't really as high as that of BMX or MTB stuff, and hopefully a well known MTB company like Norco or Banshee can start making high quality Canadian hand-built frames with a decent warranty (eg, Banshee's warranty is 10 years compared to Echo's 1 year). Some of the stuff I said, most people wont agree with, but we really need to have companies that aren't just Pulo's minions. This CNC'd era just looks good, but sadly most of it is poorly manufactured.

really really enjoyed that vid, its got some good humour in it which is great
-
Well, they are riding the same frame believe it or not . But I can see what you're getting at Gaz, and thats cool if you like your frame.
-
Nice, I like MBKs and they seem to be the one of the few frames i think Tensile cranks actually look great on. Btw, regarding the CAD-robot-drawing on the frame and the name T1000, did they take it from Terminator or something? I seem to recall some evil terminator called the T1000 or something

This is just a guess but probably around the time when some of the new 07 deng frames come out which could be in a few weeks or months. Tarty or Select will know more details I think. But the new rims have been out in China for about 2 weeks at least

war of the tribes. The bike looks surprisingly similar to Chai's Go get black forks and a black stem, and it'll be pretty identical

I wouldn't say so, the new Pures are a watered down version of the original amazing Pures. The new Pures are now 6061 alu with small tubing in general compared to the 04 Pure (downtube for example) and Pures have already broken in China, especially the chainstays are thin which get crushed by sidehops easily. Headtubes snapped off a few of the new Pures too in China. It'd be so much better to bring back the 04 Pure in its original saddle-able and U6 version, and have it in a polished chrome look like the rest of the Echo frames. This new 'Pure' isn't really the same as the old one at all. But yeah, aside from the downpoints, the new Pure's still a good bike to ride, just don't treat it as harshly as you can treat Controls, but I will always prefer an older Pure.

I remember this vid! The other rider on the pink uni is Jess Riegel, Zack's buddy. Chicken pooping at the end of vid is funny

lmao The frame looks alright I guess... still doesnt beat an 04 Python though
