Seen this bike in 10 different topics now. As boring as watching trees grow. . I'd rather see some older bikes from 04/05 than all this fancy wancy drilled hydroformed star wars technology malarky.

Thanks for the ride guys, it was priceless to see all the old faces again, and awesome to meet great new people. Sadly, i didn't get much riding done, thanks to crank strippage, but Senor Ko has been very reasonable about it and is replacing the faulty set I bought off him, s'alls good. . Anyone up for London next saturday?

ARGH, bad news. Went out for a ride today, and stripped the cog thread on my cranks... 3rd ride on those cranks too! :@ Does anyone have any square taper 170 cranks they could possibly sell on the ride?

Mmm, they look just like the Monty ones. I just get a gut feeling not to trust the quality though. Taiwanese-made parts that involve bearings and rotation don't really scream out much confidence. Bearings aren't too good in quality and materials are pretty cheap inside. I'd probably just spend that extra on an ENO freewheel. (do people still use them these days?)
