Simple layout, old riding, but I found that really entertaining. Are there any more unseen CLS vids kicking about people might have? I've got all his old PRE-ZOO Monty vids, but if there are any other rare vids of Craig on his Zoo, then it'd be good to see them. Very inspirational stuff.

Yep, that is true. I just measured mine and it's 145mm (centre to centre), and I know for sure the angle is 25. Bloody horrid stem though... I don't get why people ever liked it. I've got a t-master stem on, and EVERYTHING is easier and more fun... by a longshot

Ok, I've been using the Powerball for quite a while now too... i may need to use it more, and try and get into using the squeezy device. But generally, what the heck can we do about hypermobile wrists? Everything seems to be a 'loose fit' inside. Just imagine my wrist is like your bike, and except you leave all the bolts half-tight. The bike has to put up with that MUCH more stress to try and keep everything together in place, sometimes failing.

Anyone Ever Tried Unicycle Trials?
Sponge replied to silverfox_badattitude!'s topic in Beginners Trials Chat
That's exactly what people who don't know what they're talking about always say . Well done, you are amongst them. Have a go on one. Try riding it in a straight line comepetently. Ok... now try hopping it... harder than you thought wasn't it? Now, pull the seat out in front of you and start hopping... bet you can't keep 3 hops going without losing complete control. Try jumping 2 pallets.. harder than you thought eh... Yeah you might think that it's just parkour with one wheel under you.. and some idiots even say 'you might as well use a pogo stick'. There is more to a unicycle than just trials. On one trials unicycle, you can do street (ala skate/bmx style... yep GRINDS, crankflip variations, spins, tech), flatland, mountain, freestyle. On a trials bike, you can only really only do trials... So don't be so quick to assume. Try it and once you get good, then you can criticise it without looking like a complete mung-head. The funny thing is you seem to think it looks so stupid and easy. What'll happen is on a big London ride, you'll be outdone by a person on a unicycle, and you're on a fully kitted out bike... then you try and have a go on the unicycle and find you can't even ride or hop it without shitting your pants. Unicycle trials is still trials, and yes it was grown from biketrials, much like how biketrials grew from mototrials. We're all riding trials, hopping on a fat tyre. Respect eachother. Benito and Vincent respect it and enjoy watching it, and they're two of the best in this sport. There is a reason why they respect it. -

watch that Meet my friend. Oh what's that? he's out-doing some of Britain's finest... -
Not at all for trials. Kris only had a brake on his uni in evolve because that was his big mountain uni (24" or 26", i can't remember). It was a multi-purpose uni for him, not ideal for trials, but worked OKish... Evolve doesn't really justify unicycle ability much. But yes, he had the HS33 on because he does mountain riding on that same uni as well. He never actually uses the brake for trials itself. It's ALLLL in the feet control.

People who don't know... shouldn't talk out of their asses so freely. Keep it to yourself. Try-All rims have been improved subtly in recent years... (yep, the alloy was upgraded from 6061 to 7005 at some point). The Reinforced street rims are 7005 as well therefore. Uniycyclists don't grind rims, because we don't need brakes... we have fixed wheels so our feet are our brakes essentially. The only times you see a brake (HS33 mainly) on a unicycle is for long-distance or mountain riders because sometimes steep hilly/muddy/rocky descents and super high speed are too much for just your legs and feet to control the wheel's braking... so a magura helps there. Trials, you don't need brakes at all whatsoever, on a unicycle. the Kris Holm rims are also 7005 alu, so grinds should be fine on them too.

08 Echo Lite DD? Looks waaaayyy better than the 08 Lite HS33 for starters. (Fun Fact of the day: 08 Lite HS33s have a flawed dropout and clamping property.. i hope the Disc vesion's different dropouts avoid this problem) The new GU ST seems pretty decent too... almost an exact replica of the 06 GU Typhoon in design but black and disc-mounted. Not a fan of Czars.

Unicycle rims don't come in 32h... ever. The 07 KH rims are OK... just Try-All rims with eyelets. Quite a few smashed in uni trials already... I recommend you get the Try-All REINFORCED STREET rim... basically take a normal try-all rim... and make the following changes: Eyeletted, undrilled. Yep, and it's still 48mm wide and arguably the best rim out. Alternatively, just imagine the 05/06 Kris Holm rim but wider.. Good stuff.

Shit the bed, I thought that was static for a sec!

That looks really awesome Joe. Nice job! The new saddle is pretty sleek. By the way, i always did wonder... What size urbans are you running up front? I've wondered about Wheeler's as well... I can't tell whether you used a 20" or 26" to be honest! 'Cos the 20 inch forks have a truck load of space between the top of a 20" tyre and the bottom of the crown... so maybe a 24" wheel fitted.. It's probably a 26" I guess... The spacing between the top of the tyre and the bottom of the steerer just looks so perfect. Almost as if Deng made a 24" urban fork! It must be a damn short 26" fork then...

Nice, I see that my stem is actually doing something useful! Coolios,

You have recieved a new feedback. Below are details concerning the new feedback. Type: Good Rating SummaryNo messing around at all. Sent me CASH in an envelope, and was very patient with me sending the stem out. Didn't seem to mind it having old bolts on it either, pleasure to deal with.
