lol they are hefty gits, but an intense blurr is a very hardcore tyre that will never pinch however low you run it...well im pretty harsh at the ebst of times anyway o and ive had mine a year and its still like new, even after being ridden low on the road for a few miles :) tis good

    Phil18

hey i was gonna buy a full bike off this lad, we agreed a price and then.....he stops using msn. i pm'd him and emailed him but have not recived any replies (Y) just wondered if anybody knows him and if they could get him to get in contact/give me some contact numbers? i am still very interested in this bike and would really like to buy it! cheers, paul
  3. give it a good clean, wash the rotor with washing up liquid, sand/file the pad surface to get any glaze/cack off and break the brake in again-sorrrted :S maybe a new cable too? i dont know how to actually service the unit itself though...but doubt that would help much

    My Dmr

looks fine apart from those forks, i bloody hate dirtjumper forks, the most awful fork ive ever used, lotsa people like them but ive never had/used a pair that feel good some better hubs would be good, but not entirely needed, deores are solid and fine for dirtjumping :S

    Not Happy

a common mistake is to put the bearing cages in the wrong way up-presuming you are running an open bearing headset....
  6. o no no i meant leave them alone as in leave them to it lol, all the government do is f**k everything up for all industries, most famers (including my dad) struggle to keep the money comin, so i can understand why farmers are doin the 'double income' thing anyways private land should be left to people do what they like with within reason, although there are laws for protection of land and whats on it which i agree with cos it retains heritage and stuff thing is even if they stop us riidng eventually in the law, doesnt mean we wont ride will it? just like the old fox hunters-they are still at it even though its illegal (the majority of what we do is illegal anyway)
  7. bloxx as far as im aware of, still best off gettin heatsinks......
  8. yup i think thats pretty much one of the main parts of it (Y) bloody tossers in government :- leave famrers alone
  9. fook me, i got new bearings for my front hub for 2 quid each (Y) go to a local friendly auto mechanics-thats what i did for mine :)
  10. sexual...... looks like im saving for a dremel...... :-
  11. i belive that the idea behind the wavyness is to draw air through the caliper so that it keeps the whole system cooler? and also to shift mud when out on the trails? makes sense to me :-
  12. ive always wondered? ive done it forwards and its worked fine, look at another wheel to check :-
  13. ahhh my old front wheel :) beauty!!! is that my old bmf at the back? looks great mate, well done :ermm:

    My Steed

wow there is something strange abou tthat bike that i like!! looks an uber good street machine and ive never heard of that frame...........but meh looks nice seat looks a wee bit harsh though....wouldnt want that anywhere near my arse
  17. now send it back to tarty and try and persuade him to rebuild it :( im guessin almost any rim would do that after all that punishment but well done, it amused me lots (Y) and meh they arent that expensive to replace, only another 50 off quid including a build "
  18. ok firstly i dont ride a python im a stock rider that dabbles with a mod occasionally not long ago i had a go on andy chais python copy (i dunno how much difference there is between them and the real ones) but his felt immense, it was feckin lovely-i couldnt fault it at all (well except drilled out levers but thats differing from the point) anyways talk to him about his setup-i believe he has a viz stem and bar combo i know im a stock rider and thats probably why the bike felt good to me o and generally when moving from a shorter bike to a longer bike you will experince pains-im assuming thats due to the muscles being worked in a different way? give it time, itll pass
  19. i like it :) seat is pushing it, and the bar and stem look a wee bit skinny and weird on it but overall looks ok s'all details.......
  20. ah that sucks i need gold ones (Y) the only gold rims available are complete crap and would look overkill on my bike :- black it is then.....
  21. ahh just remebered-forgot to tell you last nite deore pads are supposed to be awful in terms of wear, so its worth looking into buying some decent pads like ebc reds (Y)
  22. ahhh legends (Y) i wanted some gold nipples :- i take it these arent alloy ones..............
