if you pads are positioned correctly(right hand as close as possible) then undo the tri-align bolts, pull the lever and then whilst holding the lever do up the tri-align bolts this gets the brake lined up (Y) well it worked perfectly for me also zip tie the cable to you forks-stops the housing moving causing more sponge/flex did you oil the cabel before setting it up? if not-go back and do it-it makes it feel sooo much better dont bother with the barell adjuster on you lever, use the red dial on the left side of the brake, i remember the older cable brakes used to be affected by the cam angle-but im not sure if thats the same for the newer avids try that

you need d-streets i think zeee forks as for fitting pegs..........i have no idea, all i know is these are the ones they use with them.... im pretty sure they used to have screw in peg mounts, but it never caught on you could just use a standard qr fork and run a solid axle (bmx hub-10mm is the same width) and use a 10mm peg upfront? or get a 14mm axle hub and grind it so so it has 2 flat edges to fit in the fork, and then use 14mm pegs, if that makes sense? alot of hassle, but if its for park/street i feel the gains outweigh it (Y)

yaha, same story for us local riders(including me when i ran a magura shock horror) but lets leave that between them-and hope the new generation of rimjams will be better! i want more rim jam red v brake pads :- mine i made were awesome (Y)
-
no idea, if they were good im sure there would be far more fuss about them from my bmx friends... nokon however-i had 1 upfront on my bb7 with ultimate lever, and it was ace, but its only marginally better than the linear slick....i would still pay the extra if i didnt have other things to buy yip good man you wont regret it

i really like my bulb, it has skipped a few times, but thats not surprising i prefer it to my old king, and hopes warranty is top notch hope xcs are rather good too, but ive found i cant go back to 1 now since having the bulb (i went straight back to an xc from a king and improved...) however, others will disagree-most people find bulbs break too easily, and prefer kings

-
i used to ride with shaun alot, in his defence hes not a scammer, but hes not exactly organised..... i shall talk to him on msn tonight-show him this topic (Y) as for the rimjam pads-it was something to do with the pads wearing down in 1 ride, falling apart and all that stuff-and from what i gathered-wally didnt replace the buggered pads....i may of totally got that wrong though...... anywho, ill give him a slap from you guys (Y)

1st rex ive heard of cracking too id imagine bugger all had cracked in comparison to how many have been sold, they are very very strong frames-just like the pitbull where did it crack out of interest? *awaits floods of people to start slating the t rex saying its shit cos 1 cracked*
-
i think he means for bike related stuff? cos they sell a shizzle load of car stuff (altho they seem to know jackshit about that too :P) also its a household name, most of the general public dont know what they are doing when it comes to car and bike stuff, so they gather they must be good it seems, so halfords keep getting custom
-
linear slick or nokon, they are the only cables worth considering from my experience linear slicks come in funky colours too:) www.alansbmx.com for linear www.wiggle.com for nokon
-
dump the xtr cable and get a proper one linear slicks or nokons are perfect  also make sure you are running cable ties to hold the cable to the forks, and run the cable as short and as direct to the brake as you can (within reason) sd7 levers are pretty darn good, if you insist on a new lever i would recomend xtr or avid ultimate-both stupidly good (N)
-
thats ok, and dont worry, hes not a knob, just a bit of a man loving homo
-

thats f**king awesome, i cant wait to see what they say :) -
look at the new gt dh bike, the 1 with the gearbox, that runs the disc brake calliper on the other side (at rear though) may help you if im not confused what you are doing?
-
got his own company now? cant remember the name, its been on here somewhere
-
oops sorry, i even read it was a calliper....its the morning and im tired :) i dont think it makes much difference-or any at all, the only reason you cant run normal levers upside down is cos of the resevoir, and as the callipers are just full of oil-i dont see why it should affect it? :)
-
now thats uber cool.....why cant the front looks as nice as that? jt: why the hell shouldnt they produce another short mod frame? why should we keep having more barges released, not everybody wants to ride a long bike monty being the leaders in short mods, this should perhaps bring a bit of variety (ok theres onza, but they are swaying towards the longer side of things on thier top flight frames) theres no need to keep with fashions, cos not everybody is fashionable :)
-
it wont effect hayes or avid, infact they are designed to be run either side (look underneath your lever-its all printed with logos ready :))
-
how is that bash design any better than the current standard bash setup? to me it looks heftier and its centralising all the force onto the bb shell? also looks like you'd get stuck on some objects due to the gaps the tensioners make sense though :)
-
:) f**king minging did the guy who does onza decals design those ones? whats with the bash, can we have a closer pic? apart form the uglyness, it does appear to have some nice design features-like the dropouts
-
and near me :) oooooooo another rider
-
i agree wih mark, stop bieng such a ponce and get it if you need it, if anything itll prob look uber cool (Y) i know the 203 on my old base looked pretty smart (Y) spose this is where the line crosses fashion over function....
