  1. I'll admit that I have done this just once to get a hold of Pauloliver to buy my cranks off him due to the fact my msn had been done and I cudn't get ahold of him on the members buy/sell. And I don't post things like: y ain't i being validated.......if you read the topic title. Excuse me and you think I haven't got used to it already!!!! And yes I have been following guidelines for over a year now until this day and to honest its p*ssing me off! I can understand that mods don't want c*ckheads in the members using text talk and posting crap like this, but can't you at least see I'm not one of these people (or never used to be until I became a rebel and broke the guidelines ^_^) Jack
  2. Yea this was my point, that I have made many more what I think are 'quality' posts and still.....no validation. I can understand the mods are very busy, but I think 1 year is enough to validate one person don't you or is that being unreasonable. But to be honest I think I have a percetly good reason to moan and whinge and complain. If you find in one of my posts that I have been using text talk or said something stupid (not counting this topic becasue that was the whole point in this topic) then yell at me and hate me for ever (Y) Jack
  3. Woo do you reckon this could get moderators attention :D ......but then not much does so I'm not gonna put a bet on it...... Actually thats a point, do you reckon that the topics you start and the number of replies could affect how fast you get validated? (Y) I'been doing this quite a lot, because I'm having to visit friends to post thngis on buy/sell to get my bike built so B) And my brothers bike also.
  4. Might as well.........but I might as well try to bring myself to validators attention rather than sitting here waiting to get validated because I've not been validated for what I've done so-far. Jack (Y) :D B) :o :P :D :D :D (N) (just to make my point that I'm not a happy bunny)
  5. Good point........But surely there is something we can do........becasue the only way in which we can bring ourselves to moderators attention is by posting these crap topics and then they shout us down for doing it?! Jack
  6. I think that there should be some system in which pre-members who have posted over a certain amount or have been on for a long time could bring their posts to the moderators attention, because otherwise we may all just be lost ina big pile of pre-members that will never get validated no matter how many decent posts we do (Y) Jack
  7. Exactly my point lads (Y) I don't want the moderators to get all angry at me for breaking guidelines and things........I just want to get validated becasue I think that over 200 posts has been quite a considerable contribution........Why can't you help instead of having a go at me for the reasons that I cant post this rubbish that I wouldn't need to post if you did help. Jack
  8. No problem then B) Woops, got a little fired up Jack :o I now this, its just that I think that I have contributed to the forum and some people they really do post a lot of rubbish in the forum which everybody asks. i.e: which is better: mod or stock (Y) I haven't exactly posted rubbish every post! Thats what I'm trying to say, and as you can see I use punctuation and grammar correctly. Could moderators actually look at my case and come to some agreement instead of telling me I haevn't read the guidelines correctly. Jack :D
  9. Thnkayou Tom_Wilko!!!!! (Y) you see my point Cheers Jack
  10. I have got used it!!!!!! for a whole year!!!!!! cheeky git. And yes, it is very annoying. I have read the guidelines and that is why I'm p*ssed off because until now I've not broken any of the guidelines!!!! I'm just bringing my case to the moderators attention because its been wayyyyyy tooooooo longggggg Jack (Y)
  11. I've been a member for over a year now and I had a post total of just over 200 in under 5 months and then my bike was stolen and took me 5 months to get a new one and to start posting again.....My post count has been reset so it only looks like I've posted something like 5 posts. I don't think any of my posts have been out of order or stupid compared with some of the posts on here. I saw a new member that had been validated in about two days yesterday :o What the hell am I doing wrong? Please validate me becasue I'm sick of having to get members to post in other sections for me!!!!!!! (Y) B) Jack :D
  12. OOOOO....looks rather like a beast :) ^Yea a bit of an overdose though....maybe black chain protector? Or wait for it to turn balck anyways........ (Y) Jack
  13. yea, I've tried tarty bikes but they're even more expensive. I've also had a look at Triton cycles and they're the same as the selectbikes bar's price. I think I might just have to work more this hols to buy the beasts......will be worth it me thinks. Had a wizz on some a while back and felt so nice compared with my onza bars and stem.......feel horribly narrrow (Y) Anyone know of any similar bar and stem combos that are about same height and length? Cheers Jack
  14. Crikey. I never really wear a helmet, makes you wonder how the sallest of things can really screw you up bad ay. :) But finally, I'm off to buy a new Giro tommorow :) I've been close to hitting my head on sharp pointy things, but never quite done it.............first time for everything though I guess (Y) Go give your helmet a big hug :) Jack :) :)
  15. Hiyas Riteo, been looking for Zoo! bar and stem for a while now, and the cheapest place I can find them is on selectbikes for 65 squid for the pair......had a look on tartybikes and they're 70 squid for the pair.......anyone know of any cheaper place that has escaped my web searching??? (Y) Also, if anyone has any second hand they could sell me id be grateful.....my msn addy is on card Cheers Jack
  16. Hiya My brother is interested in buying a monty x-alp 219? Anyone have any experinece with them? B) Are they worth the 300 pound price tag at bikedock? I've never had a monty, so what's your opinions on these bikes? Ooo another point, hes not a beginner as the monty is targeted at so whats the lifespan gonna be? Cheers Jack :-
  17. I had chain rubbage on my echo team (2003 model) and to stop it I put a washer either side of the onza hub to stop the rubbing (which it did). However, I heard that this can put a lot of strain on the frame (like montys and profiles) and was wondering if this'd b the same with my echo team. Also does anyone know of any other ways to stop the chain rubbing? It's identical to the place in which my old Zoo! Python copy rubbed. B) Cheers Jack :ermm:
  18. Doh.......If only I'd looked at the post earlier, I've just gone and ordered another set off cleanbikes...... Ah well Cheers anyway Jack :ermm:
  19. I bout a set of magura 4 bolt mounts from cleanbikes........thinking that I'd bought enoguh for one brake, paid 12.50 and when I got them through the post I realised that there was only enough for one sdie fo the mount :ermm: I didn't realise these things were sooooo expensive B) Is there anywhere I can get them cheaper than 12.50 a mount??? If anyone has any spares cud they add me to msn aswell.....that'd help Cheers Jack
  20. I've had a seriously bad past with front freewheels........the longest living freewheel (all ACS claws) has been just over 2 weeks with me. :) The the other day I bout a brand new ACS claw freewheel from trialsshop, waited 7 days ( (Y) ) and the fitted it. It worked for just over 30 minutes B) wahay! I hear a crunching noise and I take the plate off to find that 2 of the BBs had managed to insert themselves into the little pawls slots and had snapped two of the springs :P What the hell is going on! My brother and my mates freewheels have all lasted at least a few months, but not me!! :P I'm getting my money back I think...............What do you reckon could cause this dodgeyness? Jack :(
  21. Christ I can't get this f*ckin thing out for love or money. It won't even budge the slightest. I've tried kettle, DW40 and some release oil and it still won't budge. The slits are really starting to wear down fast now :P It's prooving an absolutely biatch to get out (Y) Anyone else with any ideas? I am trying to turn the bb clockwise, is this right? Cheers Jack
  22. Yea I've got the tool. Boiling up the kettle as I speak. Tell you later whether it works Cheers lads Jack

  24. Hiya I have got a bb in my echo team frame and I can't get the beast out. (Y) I need to make sure I'm turnign it the right way and also, any of you know any decent ways to get it out?
