    Pain?

yeah - the most likey cause is a form of tennis elbow - Its just imflamation of the joint. Just rest for a few days, and when gapping try to adopt a technique that is'nt as agressive (smooth out the technique). >_<

  5. these ones come with any mounting you like (4bolt, 2bolt and disc only), are pretty strong and cheap at £70 :( Pure forks will lengthen your wheelbase slightly: Urban forks will keep the wheel base roughly the same as before:
  6. HO HO HO, mr heatsink seems to be spot on - Finite Element Analysis (FEA) program being used is Cosmos. First impressions to me seem like echo are employing a CAD monkey to make up 3D models of what looks like an accurate representation of their new trials frame. And run FEA add-ins to try and show their frame is stronger than the dominant leader (seXTP 2) Brilliant sales pitch - you really have to take you hats off to their marketing strategy. Expect to see alot more of this in the future guys. the only thing is using solidworks you can manipulate everything including youngs modulus, factor of saftey (FOC),constraints and area loading forces. Which means : echo are showing you what they want you to see!!! Take it with a pinch of salt (Y)
  7. Yeah, Most of the clips shown were between demos, practicing or when the event closed so people didnt know what to do!!! Also most of the dublin'ers didnt have a clue what was going on. They just had never seen anything like biketrials - to them we were just BMX'ers with no seats! The style lacked as we were all f**ked from over exhaustion and fatigue. try doing at least 5-6 demos day for 4 days beside an industrial space heater (size of a house) :S 99% of that footage was taken on the 4th day :o
  8. You sound like a bit of a plank tryin to carry a bicycle on the back of a motorcycle (if you do own an R6)!!!! :ermm: I've you were a real life motorcyclist you'd not even consider it : as there would be horrendus complications if you crashed. :) Just imagine someone with a bikebag strapped to their back going full tilt down the M.way!!! Funny if you think about it ( in a bad way)! My advice mate is to get a better means of transport YOu could even fold the rear seats down and fit the R6 in!! :)
  9. That teaser makes tunniclife and CLS videos look like POO!! :">
  10. That was the 3rd time i'd been out on a mod. The reason the style lacked was because the most of the clips were taken on the 4th day of riding when we were all exhausted, sore and tired!!!! (Y) Must say: after owning a mod for a few weeks now - I've never been so happy to ride 26" bikes!!!! :P Here's a wee clip of some footage i had left over of all things 26" !! stock Ps. i put in a clip at the end: mt pads were running on the black stuff as the new grind ate the pads
  11. guys, let me know what you think - Dont forget the music is a piss take!!! :S There will be more RDS vids posted soon Right mouse button Click "save as" WWW.TRIALSWORLD.COM
  12. If you coordinate everything in green, you will be f**ked when you change your frame for the next new craze that comes along is in a different colour!!!
  13. (Y) Oh dear!!! That looks shocking! Drilled rims really do pollute minds!! Things are designed by engineers for ridigity and performance -(especially trials parts) Drilling things in a way is just taking the piss! What did you save? Bout 20grms!!!
  14. THanks Guys!! ;) Im just back from a 4 day demo at the RDS in Dublin. The bike was faultless and rode like a dream. I just cant seem to fault it in anyway! I'm still editing a video of the event, but it should be up and posted soon (Y)
  15. yeah no problem, this happens with alot of mods. usually depending on the front cog spacing and size, the rear cog size, the rear hub, the chain and the chain tensioner! In your case - just slip a couple of washers or spacer over the cog side of the rear hub, so that the chain doesent slap off the chain stays! Its dead easy - the more washers you use the more spacing between your frame and chain. simple (N)
  16. I've got both mod and stock bikes, and yes it can be confusing at first, but at the outdoor exib. demo at the RDS over the weekend I kept swapping between bikes everytime i went on : The crowd seemed to like the variance + For big stuff (running gaps and big ups) Stock is better. Just stay on the stock for a while and you get used to it pretty quick!
  17. Ive experienced problems too with KMC chains in general - both the singlespd. types and the ones that cost £20. I've had the links rip in half, links splayed and pins come out!! i've come to two conculsions: 1. When splitting links and rejioning them be careful not to damage the links. 2. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link Ive got this chain tool - it holds the link well and is big and sturdy for KMC's Park CT-3
  18. Aye, suppose - my levelboss is a 1065 frame (with straight forks). the Wheelbase increased when i got echo pure forks to 1080. It seems like more sence for me to get straight forks and a 1085 frame. I think the main riding difference wouldnt come from the wheelbase, but the length of the toptube as you would be more stretched out over the bike. The only reason i was considering a 1065 is because you should be able to wheelie hop higher without tapping: (which is a good thing)! -----------------Just look at mr. tunnicliffe and what he's riding!!------------------ THanks for the advice guys :ermm:
  19. I'm thinkin of swapping my levelboss 1065 frame (with echo pure forks) for a new pitbull, but am stuck on which frame size and setup to get!! :turned: I thought my wheelbase was 1065 until i measured it (1080 with sweeping forks)!!! im about 6"2 and am scared if i get a 1085 wb bike i wont be able to back wheel for shit! I'll proballt get straight forks with the new frame does anyone hav any opinions on this???
  20. Whats the Folder??? :turned:
