  1. Is anyone retailing these shoes in the UK at the moment? Trialsman used to do them, but it looks like they are no more
  2. The northern locations look good to me Maybe the 4th round could be held in northern ireland?? ps. mr travis, see you at fortbill - you're goin down!
  3. Hi guys - just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a white HS-33 lever (complete) or rear brake. Tarty do them in pairs, but i dont really want to buy both and try to split them! like this:
  4. I totally agree... its weights around a ton though! Every gram counts
  5. TI is lighter, but is less likely to break than steel. I snapped my echo one yesterday by just pedaling rather than dropping or gapping etc... I need to know i can rely on by BB.
  6. I'm looking at getting a TI BB for the first time.... The FSA ones look good on CRC for £65: But only come in 108mm Does anyone know of any 128mm ones that are tried and tested?
  7. The chainstays on the 116mm bikes are 377mm anyways.... do you mean theres only a 3mm difference bewteen them If i run an 18/14 ratio. I was playing with 18/13 today... class
  8. Hi Ben, I'll be there rain or shine I'm still on the 05 pitbull .... it seems to still work really well for me. (big ratios + big legs = big moves) I'm cautious to move away from what i'm used to (low BB) '05 geometry; incase it messes my riding style I've got a 108.9 18th up front and am reluctant to change it (£££) I might just have to buy the frame and experiment! I'd need at least 18/14 = 1.29:1 or 18/13 = 1.38 How come you got rid of yours? I take it you are riding elite this year as always??
  9. I know - i'd just rather get rid of the chain tensioner on my current frame - but having to run 18:15 puts me off. I just wonder if i ran 18:14 would the axel be hanging out of the dropouts. Its a wonder these 26" mods havent more of a following... for those who run single speed!
  10. Hi guys - just wondering if anyone has heard of a 116mm pitbull or echo control running an 18/14 or 18/13 gear ratio rather than the manufacturer recommended 18/15. I find 18/15 a bit light - wouldnt mind swaping to a horiz dropout 26" to get rid of the chain tensioner... and a bit of weight, not to mention a predictable drivechain woes! thanks in advance
  11. I thought there were rumors last year of the Brit. championships going to UCI instead of BIU... Were these hopeful aspirations are just rumors?
  12. is it just me or is the link not working?
  13. Class vid...... Music is Fe*kin amazing until 56 seconds into the video when guy starts growling idiot! Some balls'y gaps to front wheel
  14. dont like to point out the obvious - but what if they didnt do well? It would really curb their enthusiasm if they got a shit result Comps are a world apart from street - and being able to make decent videos. ------------------------------------------------- Personally - i think a lack of desire to ride in competitions for guys that are good at a specific area of the sport is to do with them already being overly satisfied - "knowing they are the best at what they do". And not needing to prove themselves anymore than what they have to. Also - its easy not to bother when you know you have no chance at coming close to savage/hyland/slinger/walker etc...... I'm not supprised if being shit scared of a bad result puts them off competiting altogether. ------------------------------------------------
