I've not been on here for a while, but it doesn't come as much of a surprise to see you've not grown up in the slightest. Given that you're so well established in the real world... Enjoy the break from the forum!

I took the xbox to my girlfriends halls and it wouldn't connect to live through her halls network. Got the SGS2 set to hotspot, connected via laptoip wireless and connection shared to 360. It was fine for playing zombies on black ops (her favourite game) and aside from one or two 10 second periods of slowdown it was awesome. Racked up about an hour and a half of live play with it. My usage for this month has just gone over 2gb, last month it was just under. I'm on 3 with the £3 a month for unltd internet deal. 900 mins, 5000txts and ultd internet for £23 a month with the phone costing £20 upfront.

I don't know how the time has gone by so fast. I like to think he's up there shredding some trails. RIP dude.

Why aren't they your own things? I'm sorry but you haven't really explained your situation enough for us to be able to help you, for example the figure tom noted is from your total yearly incomings. If you have a job as well as selling on ebay then the £7000 will take into account both sources of income. There is no single figure for taxable earnings on ebay, it is entirely dependant on your own personal circumstances. You didn't mention whether your items are new or used so if it's the latter i'd keep quiet about it and if anyone asks you're selling your own personal things. If it's the former then you'd want to check somewhere more reliable than trials forum. Maybe try starting here... http://cgi3.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=talkinpeace&clk_rvr_id=344145852584&afsrc=1

I didn't think the sale of second hand items was subject to tax, especially when sold at auction?

Yes and yes. To the former, if you dig a girl you aren't her relationship advice counsel. And she won't see you in that way if it's mutual. Next time a girl you like asks you about relationship advice say "woah there, don't you have a girly mate you can talk to about this?" To the latter, i'd be inclined to suggest mutual friend might have been a good friend to you in that they didn't tell this girl exactly what you said but maybe hinted at it somehow, which is why she's trying to get it out of you now. Teach her Just take charge of the situation and tell her how you like to be kissed. -

Was wondering how it went while i was at work today. Glad to hear it worked out well! -
Riding with kennard again, jebus Think it's been what, 3-4 years? We've been going quite a bit recently and will more than likely be there again at some point in the next few weeks.

Pick up one of those new rear mechs with the clutch mechanism in it. They supposedly stop chain slap completely.

See, all full of win. When i looked and i mean properly went to a tourist information place near me theres f**king loads of stuff. I never knew my town had a museum, which is actually quite cool to go around because theres always something to talk about right in front of you. I just dont get why people try and do the cinema or going out for a meal thing, if you take her somewhere new, you're winning on the originality front already. Quad biking, zoo, museum, discovery centres, local nature reserve, sea life centre, paintballing, arts and crafts place, local art/photography/anything exhibition (usually have free snacks too!). Unfortunately most guys go straight for the meal or cinema thing and even worse, they insist on paying. All that conveys to a girl is 'i'm not secure with myslef and now i'm trying to buy your affection with gifts. Stick around long enough and i'll keep trying to kiss your arse like this'. As an example, i met my girlfriend in a club, went home and played xbox with her and watched a movie before we fell asleep. Met up with her later in the week and just chilled out for the evening again. It was six weeks in before we went to the cinema together and i think the same night was our first food out too. A kfc of all things. -

Fuuuuuck that. Obviously this is age dependant but as a rule an attractive girl will get a f**kload of invites to fancy dinners etc. There's nothing stand out'ish with that at all. What you want to do is something chilled out and comfortable or something incredibly fun/exciting. Preferably both. GO to a theme park, or the zoo. Look in the back of the local paper to see if theres any cool things on in nearby town like a fair or a circus. Even a motherf**king flower show if you have to. You want to win her over with your personaility, not showing off with a fancy meal that adds in a load of expectations and pressure. I mean lets face it, shes given you the biggest clue by telling you she wants to go out somewhere without any pressure. Thats her saying she wants to try you out in boyfriend mode, not all worked up and agitated first date mode. I'd be inclined to say a walk through the park (flowers are blooming this time of year and its free so double win) then stop off somewhere for a drink or a quick bite to eat. -

You read the post i put up earlier? Best bit of advice i ever heard though is that abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym. Don't worry about how 'gay' your pictures look. Just get them up here so we can see bodyfat etc and give better advice. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/65033-weight-training/page__view__findpost__p__2393204

Sorry dude, been a little while since i came in here. It's dead easy the situp thing i'm doing at the minute. Go get yourself a weight and hold it under your chin. I started with 1.25kg as i think i've done like 30 situps in my entire life before this. You put your feet on the sofa so your arse is on the floor and your calves are on the seat with your feet touching the backrest. While hanging onto the weight you want to do 10-15 situps but instead of jerking and going for chin past your knees and back down to the floor you want to go slow and instead of focussing on getting a full situp you want to concentrate on crunching your abs like you would on an ab crunch machine. The trick now is once you've got the abs contracted you maintain that contracted state and squeeze the shit out of them as you slowly lower yourself back down. You stop your movement before your back hits the floor as that will allow the abs to relax and that just ruins it. You want to try the whole 10-15 reps with the abs being squeezed the whole time. It'll burn, it'll throb and you'll be breathing erratic as hell but it works. When you find it easier, increase the weight. Do this at the end of every session so 3-4 times a week. Within three weeks i was doing this with 7.5kg of weight under my chin. Apparently holding the weight trains the muscles more evenly, largely regardless of how heavy the weight is, so the uppper abdominals get a decent squeeze too as opposed to mostly using the lower abdominals without. Cheers mate, wide grip pullups and deadlifts seem to be doing most of that for me with leant over barbell rows helping out when i don't think they're that tired. I get massive headaches for 3-4 days if i do traps so tend not to do any shrugs or shoulder excercises. Gonna have to either look at my form or you should take up shares in nurofen!

Some Where To Ride In Loughborough!
Krisboats replied to jeff-jeff's topic in Member Organised Rides
Over the past 6 years of riding in Loughborough I don't recall ever having a uni security person allowing us to ride there. And yes, i was a student for part of it. If you don't hang around in one place too long you can generally avoid them okay but they will kick you off if you're on the walls and stuff as it's a part of their policy on accident liability. There are a few spots dotted round town however, i'd be up for a bit of a session at some point. Send me a text on 07889133261 whenever you fancy going round for a bit. -
While that may be true to an extent, you can also cause yourself repeated injuries if you wear inappropriate footwear for your running style. Everyone runs differently and there are shoes designed to compensate for the different styles of running. We've got a specialist running store here in loughborough (ideal marketplace due to the university sports training camp) and i've only ever heard good things from the people who've been there. They film the way your foot lands on a treadmill with a high speed camera to identify weaknesses in your technique and to find the best suited style of trainers. While i agree with the clothing and ipod accessories part, getting the correct footwear is crucial if you take it up seriously or find you keep encountering the same injuries/aching joints.

I know, that's why i recommended the golds, given that i know mr Forteh isn't an idiot I figured he'd see the reasons why the golds would be a good choice on his non-trials bike.

Just buy a set of gold superstar disc pads. They're like £6-7. Clean the rotor with washing up liquid and hot water then fit the new pads and have a smile.

Try the PHD pharmawhey one in mint chocolate. I actually like them just for the taste! I think mr roland likes the cookie flavour if i remember rightly. Well i've been working on my stomach in the past couple of weeks. Found a really effective abs workout that kills them in less than 15 reps and it's showing good results already, especially in the upper abs! October: Couple of weeks ago: For point of reference i'm 6'5".

Mate, don't feel gay about it at all. You guys are the only ones man enough to put pics in here so far from what i can see. Pretty decent apollos belt going on there too I may put a pic in here at some point, but as my diet is only just improving and my regime is non-consistant at best i think the only thing useful is my height, even that is a double edged sword. I always look low bodyfat even when eating utter shit but never look big in muscle volume.

Not really near the XC trails, they're further through the village. The downhill course is accessed via a fireroad. If you come off the a460 onto stile cop road its near the top of the hill on the right.

Yeah, got an infection from doing that. I have the 30 day continuous ones and sometimes i scratch my eye in my sleep. Never find out till i get to work though and if i've forgotten the lens case it's the only option for keeping it safe.
