You got the older carbon RB lever dude? The lever sponge effect is largely due to the clamp flexing on the bars. If you jubilee clip round where the hose goes into the lever body to attach it to the bars it barely feels flexy any more. My RB is the same, though i wouldn't be without it.

Depends on the frame really. People say mine flexes quite a bit but i like the bite i get that not running a booster gives me. With the right pads and grind it gives the same amount of hold as people running boosters so i get the best of both worlds. If you're really on a budget though just measure up your frames mounting holes. Draw a horseshoe shape and get cutting! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/aluminium-sheet-plate-200x200-x-5-mm-thick-grade-en485-/300535675685?pt=UK_BOI_Metalworking_Milling_Welding_Metalworking_Supplies_ET&hash=item45f9527b25

Love the footwork to stop you falling in that icy water on the big drop gap at the end. Great video dude.

Lighten the bike up, stop vibrating as much, stop taking 45 seconds to do a line and do it in 30, practice more and finally STOP WHINING!

I got it, works alright dude. certainly a good effort. Couldn't get the run up for the tap on the example section though.
-
Ha, you're both premature. It's there now.
-
Based on that video, blue/black. Its not how well you can do the sections at your best that you need to think about, it's how well you do when you're near the end of the day and absolutely knackered that is the biggest factor.

Sweet, you won't be alone

Welcome to the forum dude. Just a few words of advice from things i've gleamed. If you're after some info on something try the search bar at the top right of the page. If you don't you'll get about 10 "use the search" replies before you get anything helpful in your topic. Contrary to what other "mechanics" believe, bleeding a magura with water is fine and the majority of people do it with no ill effects. Bikes shops are now a thing of the past for you. If you get stuck post up on here and we'll get you sorted, saving you money and time in the long run. Never post a picture or video of you riding without a helmet under the belief that everyone replying won't hesitate to use this: Most people on here are kids, don't expect a serious answer for a little while into the thread, especially if it's a personal question. Sarcasm doesn't work on the internet, always follow up a sarcastic note with a

I know i wasn't there, that's why i said i wasn't going to go into how good a mechanic you are. Anything i've mentioned regarding your character and awareness is what i've gleamed from your replies in this thread. Well then why not come in and say "it was me that works in the shop, the cups were in the wrong sides and the bb just slid in and out." I think everyone would have just let it drop, instead though you came in all guns blazing mis-reading people and writing replies in the e-dialect of a common chav. Kinda ruins your credibility a little bit We were just trying to help and to be fair, we had contradicting diagnosis along the way...

Arse hose I'm not going to get into how good a mechanic you are, but I think it's clear you don't pay attention to what's in front of you and seem to come across quite hotheaded and arrogant.

Sounds like the bike shop guy was an arsehole who didn't know what he was doing. Wouldn't surprise me if he'd caused the problem with the onza bottom bracket, if there was a problem at all. I seem to remember reading about the onza bb's being a bit hard to get out sometimes, maybe he forced it and yoinked the threads out himself. The threads may well be fine, if it's stiff most people tend to jump straight to cross threads rathert than fully taking it out and looking at the condition of the threads inside. From the pictures though that bike looked alright, minus a few tidy up things that needed doing to it. You always find weird stuff with second hand bikes though. The guy i bought mine from had put the disc adapter on upside down and corrected the fact it didn't fit properly by attaching another adapter, which meant the pads were only half on the rotor! All he had to do was flip the first one round EDIT: Wow, that'll teach me to leave a page open for a few hours and reply without refreshing and miss all the good stuff! I still stand by my first comment though with the exception of the bb being installed with a chisel. Although you say the bb was in the wrong way round? I'd be surprised if someone could install a bb with a chisel with opposing threads. By brake body i take it you mean slave cylinders? If they aren't leaking then they'll be fine with a clean, rebleed and some finish line lube around the seals. A short cable, really? How easy is it to fit a new one for a couple of quid? Replacing a spoke is just the icing on the cake really. £100 will not buy much of a bike in fairness, let alone one supposedly "more legit".

Another good one is to ask him to take high detail photo's of the item from all sides clearly showing the damage. Tell him you did took date stamped photo's yourself before sending it out and you're quite happy to send your photo's to paypal so they can compare the before/after shots. Sounds like he would be the kind of person to add extra holes to it just to get his own way. Also paypal should state that he has to provide a tracked parcel number to show he sent it back before they refund the money. I know ebay do and as they're the same company i'd have thought paypal would have the same/a similar procedure. So expect a delivery of bricks/yellow pages sometime soon. Providing date stamped photo's to paypal would be the only real way to aid your case though. I take them from each side now and close ups of any damage just to prevent things like this. Also send a link to his forum profile showing him to be banned. I linked a complaints page for a usenext case i made and had my money fully refunded, i believe largely in part to the testimonials of other people in the same situation. Attacking his character would appear immoral however would most likely work in your favour. The only sure advice however is to write this one off to experience and accept that you've lost the money, this way it'll be rather nice if you win. Unfortunately the chances are slim.

Small skatepark in leicester, used to be called the edge i think. It's small, but it's local. Only other real local one would be derby storm, although i don't know if that's still running. That had some pretty big stuff in. Pretty sure there was a 12 or 14 footer in there!

Very nice vid mate. I'd love to go back to barrow again.

Is Their A Trials Rider In Every Town In The Uk?
Krisboats replied to Davetrials's topic in Chit Chat
Would it not be better to cross off names in the original list rather than have a topic full of several people replying for the same town? Loughborough (east midlands): Indeed. -
It was just a childish response to having his even more childish posts removed. I really liked the video, looks like you have some great places to play on over there!

You're really annoying today aren't you. Have a day off to think about what sort of image your portraying for your sponsors.

Is it not aimed more at the trials/slalom bunch, where the trials refers to time trials/XC style events?

Yeah, you sure look like you have the mechanical skills to back up what you're saying. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/163809-crank-arm-fell-off/
