he snapped the bolt, so get some long nose plyers, granb the old bolt out and put a new one in. if you cant get to it, new starnut.

in general, ridgid forks are stronger than their single crown suspended counterparts. it'll be fine, i'm running an 8" on my kot forks and its fine!
