i appologise in advance for shit grammer and shoddy spelling :)
right, brake setup. the dirt harry is an exelent lever. leave it on. get an oddy linear slick cable, abny colour. either get a primo e brake of an evolver, these both come with good pads(the e brake ones are a little better) and if you need a little more stoping power think about the v flys or heatsink blues.
get some beringer bars, or if your weight conscious beringer lights.
for light cranks, go for powerbites or holowbites i guess, or if you have the money some rnc's (lifetime waranty). to be honest i would just get some wtp royals or the smack dadies. they arnt that light but they'll last and are nice and cheap.
stem, i would advise either the elementary or the superstar stem. both very light, good looking stems.
for a new chainring, there are loads out there, im guessing your running a 13t at the moment so its got to be 36 or pushing it 33. i think the primo analog is quirte nice, along with the wtp sterio and some of the macniel stuff.
if you want a nice light wheel set, get the hazard light wheelset. i think you can stil get the rear lhd wheel on offer from http://www.pijin.com but if you get lhd make sure your cranks are compatible. for the front, a macniel hub on primo balance would be nice and light.
for tyres. i find the shoadow undertone to be extremley grippy, mark who i ride with likes the oddy path. they are both exelent rear tyres. for the front i run a maxxis m tread, it rolls very fast and is nice and grippy, v monsters seam to be very popular front tyres. i also liked the primo wall (when i had it).
hope that helps, any more questions, just post away.
