ye, v brakes really are very very good. mines holding fine, grabbing alright etc, avnt touched it since last summer, put a bit of tar on it the other day and it's gone a bit insane! (koxx yellows dead grind sd7 setup) much better than either of my mates citruseseses or crv's and maggies.
