Can we have any idea of roughly how much you want to spend? Like Rowly says, you can get HD cams for £400 and stuff, but then again for that you can also get an allright little 3CCD mini dv camera. Or you can buy a HD cam for £1000's but you can also buy amazing mini dv cameras for that. And as for comparing Inurs footage and some other randomer with a little miniDV camera, theres no point. Inurs camera cost £1000s, if you compared a VX2100 (an miniDV cam thats about £2000) and the cheaper MiniDV footage there would also be an incredible difference. But yer, need a price range

I had my first day at my new job yesterday. B&Q hahaha! It's allright to be honest, most of the managers seem like a laugh, is a massive place so i'm not all couped up. The pay is amazing for a part time shop job round here. I get £6.86 an hour but i work 8 of my 14 hours a week on sunday when i get 1.5 pay so £10.29 Bonuses at christmas, easter and july aswell. Alllllll good.

Buy nice posters I like to buy art for my wall but that's probably alot more expensive then your wanting. Mount up shit like old skate decks. Ask photographers on here nicely if you can print one of their photos. You can generally get 8"x12" prints for £3 or so. A few of them could look pretty good stuck up. Rip bits out of magazines. You already mentioned flyers, one of my walls is covered in good flyers. Stencil and street artists often sell canvases for not that much on ebay. I'm talking proper unknown and probably never will be known artists, but still some good work for £10-£20 I think he's more reffering to little decorations for walls and stuff rather then furniture?

Quackers you legend Haha. 1) What i'm getting at is that your wildstyles aren't advanced 2) What you don't seem to understand is that Banksy wasn't always a stencil artist. I think he has a bit more credibility as a freehand artist then you no? What makes you so bothered about the whole media thing? How come you want freehand graff to get media attention so bad?

So you're obviously not an 'advanced wildstyle' writer that's gonna be better than Banksy TarmacTerrorist- joe's right about legal walls. Skateparks are often legal or just accepted graffiti spots so hang around there and maybe you can get chatting to an artist who's willing to do it. Writers may not want to meet up from online forums etc or even tell you what they write either because you could be a cop etc. Don't be suprised if no decent artists want to do it for free as well.

Go back to some basics and work on more letter structure. Get that dooowwwn then move back onto wildstyle and i guarantee you'll see an improvement And you do realise theres alot of difference between doing that on a wall and on paper right? Do you actually hit walls? I'm trying to find some of Banksy's freehand pieces but it's next to impossible under the swarm of information about his stencil stuff. Think theres some in the 'Home Sweet Home' book though if your interested.

I do street art Stencils and wheatpastes mainly. I do dabble in freehand but more characters then letterforms really. I don't know how you can possibly claim to be an advanced wildstyle writer without liking tags. People can slate tags as much as they want but without tags there would be no wildstyle. Tags are where you learn basic letterforms and how to structure letters and pieces. Sure 'i was ere 2k7' is pretty lame but thats not a tag, thats just some random mug wiring on a wall. A massive ammount of effort and practice goes into proper taggers, from blackbooks filled and filled with the same tags to the way they spotted that lampost and ledge to get access to that spot. It's amazing in my eyes. There's no doubt Banksy is an amazing artist, but others in the UK are on par with him. He is amazing at marketing himself and puts so much effort into his work so has hit the media hype, all power to him Oh and people should be aware that he was a pretty amazing freehand artist before stencils. WHy does media attention make him whack? The objective of taggers is to 'get up' and get seen as much as possible. In the same way, i'm guessing Banksy want's as many people as possible to see his pieces, laugh at them, be inspired by them or be educated by them. What better way to get your work out to the world then the media? Truth- he's a better freehand and stencil artist then anyone in this thread will most likely ever be. It's the way the media portray him as the one who started street art in the UK that is whack.

I completed it on my first go woop What a pro. And that font on the site is the most overdone font ever. I should know...i used it on my first site It also just looks really blank.

Yer definately, but i was combating the whole 'they should be chucked off after a month' thing. Cos that's not a very long time at all. It must be so hard to set limits on something like that as there will always be genuine cases that go over them etc. Other than that i'm not really bothered to get involved as i'll be the first to admit i'm not qualified to debate on this matter haha.

But Mike was saying he'd take a shelf stacking job or whatever wasn't he? But he actually couldn't find anything cos there was barely any employment in his town. So someone in Mikes situation but perhaps with less skills and qualifications should be able to find a job in a month when he couldnt? What if said less qualified individual was also bringing up two kids? Mike i'm sure you'll understand this isn't a dig at you at all Just using your situation to show that. It just shows that anyone is prone to taking sides with those that they know because they have actually have heard the full situation. Then they assume that others are just taking the piss when they don't know the full situation.

Yer theres no doubt about that, he performed for that last shot under pressure, and was good in the rest of the game. But i think it was the second and third penalties that i just thought it was getting too. They were both nice keeper height, not too well placed towards the post and he went the right way. But i guess the TV doesn't really portray how powerful these guys are hittin em. I always find it amazing watching the celebrations at the end. Imagine how ecstatic the whole Man-U team must be, would be an immense feeling knowing that right hten your team is pretty much the best in the world and you were part of it, all the training and stuff paid off. And imagine how gutted Terry and Anelka would be, such a comedown. It was also awesome to see Gigs put his away soo well. Best penalty of the whole thing under so much pressure. Such an awesome player with a great attitude so i was pleased to see that one for sure

Thats well a coincidence! I literally found out that fact last sunday at a B&Q job interview! When i saw this thread title that's the one i was going to post The other funny thing. The guy said that they sold it on too Kingfisher and someone said 'i bet they regret that now' and the B&Q guy said yer i bet Block does cos he's now a busdriver in northampton lmao!
