  1. Yes watch this, don't be a fassy, espeacially if you already have it!
  2. Both awesome films. Did anyone see the Blek le Rat exhibition at the black rat press a few months ago? Was sick. But you gotta understand that the 'good' and 'nice' stuff doesn't exist without illegal stuff. Alot of the time it's the illegal stuff that's pushing the art, and it's certainly the illegal stuff that created the art. You can't expect one to ever live without the other, unless councils make a looooad more legal walls and spots to hit but even then people will hit other places. A bmxer gets bored of riding just at a a skatepark you know? And Mark, that happens at Watford alllll the time, dicks. To be honest i dislike anyone that tags in legal spots anyway, what's the point? You have all the time in the world and aren't gonna get done for it so why would anyone ever think they're a badman tagging there haha.
  3. Where do you draw the line though? Those are definately graffiti, they are all someones tag for a start. But does that suddenly become \'wall art\' just because they got good? And as a side note, i wouldn\'t say those pieces are outstanding, just the top google result i saw. There is some seriously amazing stuff even round Watford.
  4. Check out the chevy car audio security have got for sale here haha. Nuts Check out all the amps in the bed in the back! Other than that, i'm not a 4x4 fan unless your a farmer or something
  5. Yer but yet again that's a stereotype based on probably only knowing little shit taggers that tell the world about it, because the more experienced and more skilled ones and the ones that aren't total fannys keep themselves to themselves and you wouldn't really know. You think Tox goes around on the circle line pointing out the window and showing the person next to him all the scribbles he's done? Personally i think taggers are kinda wierd, at the end of the day to run about on your own all night you gotta be, but that kind of impression is just a massive stereotype which is often wrong. Tomms point of view is a very valid and reasonable one i think, but you just gotta accept that every pastime attracts pricks and graffiti, with the stigma it's got, attracts a few more. Plus you have no option but to look at the pricks work because due to the nature of it it's right in front of you. It's like people saying 'ahh i hate artists' because some of the art you may have to see in gallerys is shit. It's kinda selfish of beginner artists to make you see their crap, but that's life, and you can't really learn graffiti stuck in your garage spraying away, the fumes will kill you for a start. EDIT: oh and my opinion may be different to some peoples cos i class graffiti as tagging, characters, pieces etc that were actually done for the sake of graffiti kinda thing? Things like 'Matt woz ere' aren't graff in my eyes, just vandalism (which i respect is a part of graff) and i bet the matt that wrote that doesn't class himself as a tagger or a graffiti artist or whatever.

  7. Haha fair enough, i kinda drunkenly jumped the gun to be honest. Sometimes those wink smilies look more kinda 'i'm right your wrong' then jokey, shoulda used a tongue Personally i'm not really someone who tags alot and worries too much about 'getting up', but i can still respect the people that do. It's hard to explain but as Matt says it's just a rush, albeit selfish, that you get and it's just fun, i know people that i would say are seerrriously addicted haha. These people are dedicated, i remember walking through London at about 12:30pm last new years eve and seeing 'Tox 08' on a bridge above me haha (on a related namedrop note: i saw him the other day in a pub ), and that bought a massive smile to my face, not everyone sees it as bad so there is some good in it if you get me? It's also not the actual tag that i appreciate but the placement, how they got there and how perfectly placed some tags are in places that you'd think they would have to fly to get to. It's more if you get caught or are under suspicion they look for solid evidence using things like that, they look on websites, your phone, your room etc. The BTP confiscated my phone and i was lucky enough to not have anything on it 'seeing as i don't do graff' but was shitting my pants that they would find stuff that i had posted on websites etc. EDIT: Just read this on a graffiti blog haha: 'According to "Live Science" graff writers (and skydivers) do it to attract mates...'. Maybe that answers some of the stuff in this thread?
  8. Yer, but he's not saying 'hey check out this wall i grinded my bashguard on' and giving you the postcode of it aswell as his name and address.
  9. How is anyone ever gonna top Banksy if they never try? Not to mention the fact that Banksy right now is a completely different kettle of fish to graff Dan: i don't think that's really true, plenty of people can read graff and you should look into an artform before dismissing it. I do graff, big up mista neos but i would seriously keep it between you and your boys. I remember the times when i would post stuff on places like this and it got me in enough trouble to make me realise that being that loud about it is stupid.
  10. But is biologically the same as morally? I haven't read the whole thread cos i'm shattered.
  11. Don't really get on with skate style shoes any more, just don't like how big and clumsy they all look. Stan Smiths/Superstars for meeeee
  12. I think it sounds fine, kinda slangy but it's a jokey tee shirt so does it matter that much? Dave's technically right though
  13. I forgot to mention finding a draw hidden under a shrub thing by the local druggie hangout before we really knew what weed was. Me and my friend just ate the lot between us Eating spiders i found was always my little party trick to 'impress' the ladies aswell
  14. Awesome thread! Similair to Anzo'z hiding in my front garden and throwing water balloons and passing cars was always awesome. I used to always take the green bin (garden waste) and full on go inside it. So when a car came near my mate would buzz me on the walkie talkie and i'd pop out and throw a balloon then pop back in haha, tech shit. But obviously i couldnt see what cars were coming so one time it had to be a convertible, your standard fly 25 year old business man got a fat water balloon right in the face! Needless to say he jumped out and started searching around, he went all round where i was and circled the bin but never thought to look in it I was shitting bricks. Breaking into abandoned places and getting chased out by police was always fun. And when we first started 'tagging' (when we were reeeaallll young and didn't no jack) and would regularly get chased. Going into The Grove (a 5 star hotel round here with an amazing golf course that Tiger Woods has been to and the England squad stay at when playing London etc) or other golf courses and riding our bikes on 'the jumps' and over the bunkers on the golf courses untill the course warden guy would come out and chase us in a golf buggy Those things actually CHIP. Fence hopping where you see if you can get from your house to your mates house by staying in back gardens and jumping the fences. I remember when my neighbours security light when off and he came bolting out and went mental. Fires i'd rather not go into haha. Endlessly searching for sleeping bums we could jump over like on Tony Hawks (but we would do it on feet cos we couldn't ollie that high). Seeing how many loops of the mental home grounds we could do without being spotted by the endless security lights etc. And a similair thing in British Waterworks near us which we found a back entrance into. It had revolving cameras, motion sensing lights that would lock onto you etc. It was a whole new level of splinter cell compared to the mental home. Knock down ginger but the funniest one when my mate knocked on his next door neighbours house, no answer so went back a minute later and she opened the door just as he was about to knock, this kid just broke down crying on the spot
  15. My best friend in primary school believed i was an invincible robot for 3 years I used to say i could turn him into a robot too just by magic so he asked me to and i did. Needless to say, he didn't feel any different so i said 'you only start noticing it on midnight after the day your changed'. By 3:00 when i was nearly time to go home i would get worried and just change him back again haha, he would get soooo pissed off.
  16. Kind of a joke but the kind of flirty joke you and everyone else knows you'd quite like to come true?
  17. Travelling wise I pretty much want to go everywhere Not so bothered about the states but wanna see a good portion of other stuff. Been to Zimbabwe but i was a bit young so would like to cover Africa a bit more again now just to see it all. Would mainly love to go east to China/Japan/Indonesia and also Australia/Fiji/New Zealand. Living wise, i love England and don't know any different so i'll say that But i'm a go with the wind person so who knows, i might find somewhere better or just fancy a change of scene.

I use itunes so if you already use that it's good. It tends to filter out the crap pretty well. Just go to Itunes store/Podcasts and have a look around in the catagories your after. Or alternatively just search 'D&B podcast' or whatever in the top right. Try and pick ones with a large ammount of users subscribed (theres a little bar that tells you), you can miss alot of gems like that but it saves wading through too much rubbish. If you don't use itunes. Just search 'D&B podcast' or whatever on google and have a look about. Alot of the websites about the style of music your into and stuff will have a podcast so just look around really.

Ok so i'm sure most of you have heard of podcasts. If not then you're stupid As far as i'm concerned they're the best way to get free, legal music and to find out about new artists and genres just with the click of a button. I'm curious as to how many people use them and which podcasts they use. So what are you signed up to?
