As far as I know the BB7 does not come with a lever, but they have got to be one of the best disc brakes ever made(especially for the money). The 185mm should not be too powerful for your X-lite forks, I am running my 185mm on my Hydra forks and all's well. And if you can't tell already I would definately recommend it and I think the cheapest place to buy it would be CRC or maybe the Woolly Hat Shop. Hope this helps

Best Way To Post A Full Build Mod?
Jonny Shoe replied to DJTiredboy's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
If you go to an Electrical Store e.g. Bennets, you can go round the back and grab a widescreen TV box which works well for packaging, you will probably have to take off the wheels though and rearrange some parts. -
Chain Reaction Cycles is a good online shop as well for less specific bike stuff. And yes Tartybikes is very good as most people will agree. If you are considering 2nd hand parts don't look any further than this site here as the stuff I have bought from TF has been well worth the money. Hope this helps

This sounds like it is coming together as a good ride, may join you on that one? Is it still 11 at Sheel or earlier? Is anyone coming from Ipswich/Colchester way as I don't want to be on my own?
-
Yes I suppose they do although they aren't meant to do your pecs and shoulder because you are meant to keep your arm still when you use them and just use your wrist, but yes now thinking about it they must improve your grips as well, sorry. I can only get it up to 10k.

Smo, Powerballs are awesome I have one but they do not strengthen your fingers they strengthen your wrist. The brake levers and springs idea is a very good one well done BAZZA

18:12 I think that is a standard gear ratio but I am not altogether sure. Works well for me though!
-
I would save the money and get the standard one and then spend 10 minutes just unscrewing it, loctiting it and then screwing it up again really tight. It has worked for me

There are a few different choices but a lot of it is down to prefernce between 1) price 2) hydraulic and mechanical just to name a couple. The ones most used and best in my opinion are: Hope Mono Mini Hope Mono Trial Hope M4 (little powerful in my opinion) Avid Juicy 5 Avid BB7 Avid BB5 (same as BB7 with less adjustability) Will add more if any come to mind. Hope this helps

Proven by who and what laboratory. I think You'll find that the vast majority of riders use nothing but water and maybe anti-freeze. Much snappier feel + response.... I have spoken to a few people who have said the same thing including XC riders etc. Sorry I haven't tried water so I may find it is snappier as you say but I would also like to point out that over time water will gradually wreck the inners of your Magura unlike oil which won't.

I am afraid you are wrong there mate the best stuff proven so far has been Citroen Hydraulic LHM oil. It is superb as I have it in my maggie at the moment. If you pop along to your nearest garage if they have it I think it is only about £5 for a litre which is a great price. Hope this helps

Very cool logo Sam, would be even better if you could make those arrows into tyre tread marks.

"matt rushton Posted Today, 05:35 PM Where can you get rimjams from i've looked all over but i can never find them??" If you find Wally on this forum he will be able to sort you out for sure.

Good video and some good filming. I especially like the gap to front wheel! Keep it up and make sure you wear a lid next time.

Search the rest of the sight I am sure there have been other topics on which disks are best for grinding rims. I will get a picture of my rim for you later on msn if you want but i suggest if you want a light grind go for the course sandpaper.
-
I have two disks I tried: The Metal Grinding disk which was good for permanent grinds that would lasta long time although it did look a bit messy! and Very course sandpaper disk. It does sound odd but I wanted a fairly light grind and this did the job perfectly. It was very easy to control and made a lovely tidy job. I would not recommend a metal cutting disk though because it is a lot harder to carefully control and one slip and your done for. Hope this helps .

CraigleeScott stickers look horrible take them off but keep the zoo ones on they look ok. Other than that your bike is seriously nice kit. Good Effort!
-
I am not sure where you can get them from, probably Clean Bikes, but the Monty X-hydra forks are nice and strong and I would imagine fairly cheap also. Have a look into them.

Good Pics and some great riding but I do not see any helmets on in any of the pics. Stick one on its not cool to have concussion.

Chris Akrigg does a nice backwards stoppie down a hill on one of the free MBUK DVD's. Try that.

Black Mod Frames - Reasonably Priced
Jonny Shoe replied to bikerboysam1's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Rub your current one down with 120 grit sandpaper very lightly, as long as you don't hit metal you will be fine. The problem is the welds. For mine I used a "Dremel"(little electric type thing with assorted ends?. Then voila you have a frame ready for spraying.
