  1. GOGO's Boglins Popper trousers the poddington peas warhammer the things you could get from Halfords that go on your handle bars, and when you turn them they make revving noises little foam grips that go over your brake leavers hahah I've got mine saved too full set And a fashion from the not so old days... putting your train tickets/other random crap in the spokes on your front wheel lol
  2. That doesn't stop them picking it up and dumping it in the back of a car to rob it though. One of my mates actually had his bike nicked that way :|
  3. No, just like everyone else who had that tattoo for the same reason
  4. One of the nicest bikes i've ever riden. really nice. they'll take a hammering too but will crack eventually

  7. Really liked that. Gave a totally different view on sheffield as a place to ride.
  8. loved that! really chilled out... for how chilled out it was i'd probably have made it a tad shorter though but thats just me. Good work
  9. I'd say its worth replacing your hub for really. But Onza Hog or a trialtech otherwise probably. Never seen a try-all last more than a few months and not had anything good from Deng since 2006.
  10. buy this now stronger than the one ring. you litterally do have to drop gap into the fires of mount doom to put a dent in it and holds grinds perfectly. and you've got £10 spare so you can buy this lil bling bling for you keys an tingz
  11. Meh my multi-tasking works fine but for how much everyone complained about it not being on the iphone its really not that useful..
  12. CLS and Danny Holroyd/Trials Kings - had a massive impact on the sport over the years Damon Watson and Danny Macaskill - pushing the boundaries for each of their styles of riding Chris Akrigg - just pure creativity and wicked videos.

  15. No I f**king well aren't. Who gives a shit what country he's from. A good video is most defiantly not a video which you can count the exact width/height of a wall. A good video is one where the camera man has thought properly about where to take his shots from and one that is edited well with some thought to fit the images with the sound track thats running over the top of it. And what's the problem with fisheye? pretty much every single extreme sports video uses fisheye at some point or another. Maybe for the effect or maybe because they can stand closer in more condined spaces. Also, having a fisheye does not define how good a rider is. Its just a cameramans preferance as to whether they use one or not.
  16. Riding was very big and impressive but like Mark said, took all of the shock value out by posting up pictures of the biggest stuff. music was awful and didn't fit his riding style, was too fast.
  17. Anyone on here use blogger? If you do post up a link

  21. My first tip would be to head over to the video section and watch as many videos as you can, very helpful for adjusting your technique and working out what you're doing wrong when riding, they also work as great inspiration for new tricks to try and learn. Living in Stockport is quite handy as far as attending group rides go (see rides/locations section) as it won't cost you too much to get on the train and travel to some great riding locations such as stoke, birmingham, nottingham etc. Group rides are very good because you tend to pick things up quite fast being surrounded by other riders who can advise you/show you how to do certain things.
  22. Cheers for that mate I sort of worked it out... drew a box then put a horizontal and vertical line through the middle, grouped it then dragged it to the swatches panel. Then I drew a big box (A4) and applied the swatch to it. Sorta worked, was a bit wonky but after highlighting all the boxes and clicking un-group I could edit all the individual squares and try what I wanted to try which was drawing an 8-bit style mario and stuff. cheers for the tips
  23. I've been wanting to brush up on (pretty much totally re-learn) French for a while now but haven't got the time to commit to a night class due to work commitments. I thought of maybe getting one of those Cd's that you can listen to in the car/in bed etc but there's millions to choose from :/ Just wondering if anyone on here has tried to teach themselves a language, what software/books they used and what other tips and tricks were useful whilst trying to remember words/sentences... Did you learn with a friend? if so, did you find it helped because you had a physical person you could practice with? cheers for any help guys
